Family Feud!

The old saying goes that "Blood is thicker than water." But Corporate America leader Talon proved Sunday that the only interest she had in her brother Outlaw's blood was if it was spilling onto the mat at the hands of her husband Michael James.
Talon had not made an appearance in Oklahoma City since the end of October and in that time, Corporate America had lost what little power and prestige it had remaining. Terry Pantera hadn't shown up for months. 3rd Rail had been sent packing by AACW Television Champion Prophet. Tommy Smash made a bid for Prophet's TV Title, but came up short and was thrown out of the group by Michael James. But the incident that seemed to have had the most effect on Talon was the brewing issues between James and MSWA Oklahoma Champion Outlaw.
Outlaw had been garnering fan support across Oklahoma City and it didn't seem to matter that he wasn't seeking it. When he competed in MSWA, he was fighting the likes of Michael Faith & Halo and showing respect for IZW Impact Division and MSWA Champion Ryan Davidson. in AACW, he competed against future AACW Tag Team Champions AWOL & Havoc and while he lost, he was still showed respect. Then, on January 6th, he fought against Kareem Sadat in what may have been the bloodiest match in AACW history. And while Sadat walked out the 1st AACW Hardcore Champion, Outlaw walked out proud of having given his all and earning the respect of everyone in the arena that night. Everyone, that is, except for Michael James, who saw what he believed to be Corporate America's last chance to earn some gold and regain some prestige slip through their hands again. After the match, with Outlaw bleeding profusely from the head, he took the microphone and screamed that James would pay for his betrayal during that match, declaring that Talon would soon be a widow.
The following month did nothing to quell the heat of this feud. Despite frigid temperatures and shake-ups in the federations in OKC, Outlaw was lusting for blood when he entered the SWCW ring Sunday to face off against his brother-in-law. And it appeared that Talon was completely unhappy about the whole thing. She accompanied her husband to the ring, but was clearly displeased with the state of events and when Outlaw came out and reminded her how he had sacrificed his body so she could go to college, she ran to his arms and stood in his corner for the duration of the match. But it was all a ruse. After the referee was knocked unconscious, 3rd Rail came down the ring and attacked both James & Outlaw, telling Talon that his actions were her fault. This confused everyone, including Talon (apparently). But when Outlaw recovered and prepared to chokeslam James, Talon entered the ring and hit Outlaw with his branding iron, knocking him out and allowing her husband to earn the pinfall. Talon and Michael James stood united in the ring, gloating over the fallen Outlaw as the fans voiced their displeasure.
However, the night would not end on that happy note for the Cheif Executive Bitch of Corporate America. She would return 2 segments later for a match against Jessi Jersey. And because she was feeling so good about herself and her success, she promised that if she lost the match, all the hot dogs at the concession stand would be sold for $1 each and she would pay the difference in cost. While Talon certainly had an experience and size advantage over Jessi, it didn't help her any that her husband accidentally tripped her as she came off the ropes, which allowed Jessi to score a quick pin and forced Talon to open the purse strings of the Corporate account.
So, as seems to be the norm for the past several months, for every step forward that Corporate America takes, they take 2 steps back. The faction still appears to be in shambles. Is 3rd Rail working for or against the group? Will we see a reappearance of Talon's other brother Dominator? Or former member Tommy St. Charles? Or might there be some new members that Talon is looking to recruit to raise the value of the Corporate America stock in SWCW? One thing seems certain: given the results of this past Sunday, it certainly seems that Valentine's Day won't be the happiest in the James household this year.
