Mick Foley Interview Recap

Mick Foley was a guest on Sunday Night?s Live Audio Wrestling show to promote his book ?Hardcore Dairies.? Here are the interview highlights:
- He said when he makes appearances at sporting events, he sees quite a crossover with wrestling fans.
- Foley said he was approached about doing a new book last February.
- He said the new book focuses on the six weeks leading up to ECW?s One Night Stand.
- He said Vince McMahon wanted Foley to hammer someone in the book, and the Chairman was bit surprised when Mick told him he was being hammered.
- Foley said he has yet to read Eric Bischoff?s book.
- Foley said he Tivo?s all the ECW shows. He said at one time, he liked the product with a blend of young talent with the veteran stars. He did say he likes the current direction with the ECW originals against the new breed.
- He said he could have helped blend the ECW originals and the new talent had he not gone anti-ECW on television.
- Foley said he enjoyed a recent RVD-Test hardcore match, even though it wasn?t well received in the company.
- He does for see ECW lasting throughout the year.
- Foley said he wasn?t contacted about working Wrestlemania this year, but hopes to be apart of the show.
- He said he has some creative ideas for Wrestlemania.
- Foley expects to be apart of Raw to help promote his new book.
