Promoter Dan Mirade responds to accusations made by Kamala

Longtime Boston promoter Dan Mirade, who runs the Millenium Wrestling Federation, has posted a lengthy response on the promotion?s website in response to a video that former WWF star Kamala posted yesterday regarding a benefit Mirade and his promotion have been running for the ?Ugandan Giant.?
For those out of the loop ? Kamala lost both of his legs due to a lengthy battle with diabetes and high blood pressure. The MWF had been in contact with Kamala ? real name James Harris ? about raising funds that would assist in him in his plight.
According to Mirade?s response, which can be viewed in full by clicking here, the MWF had run auctions and was simply waiting for the auction winners to submit payment for their bids before the money was forwarded to Harris. MWF is also running a special for their Kamala Shoot Interview DVD, which are now on sale for $10, with all proceeds going to Harris. That sale runs until August 19, and according to Mirade, the money from that sale would be sent once that sale completes.
Before the video, Harris, according to Mirade, took to Facebook to blast his efforts along with Dawn Marie?s ?Wrestler?s Rescue? organization. That message can still be seen on Harris? Facebook page. Mirade says that Harris, whom he has been in contact with for weeks regarding the fundraiser, has cut off communication with him and blocked him from posting or reading message on his Facebook page.
Part of Mirade?s response includes a photo of the money order being sent to the Cauliflower Alley Club, the organization that was assisting Mirade in getting the funds to Harris, as well as an e-mail that CAC executive vice president Karl Lauer sent to both Mirade and Harris yesterday.
