WWE RAW World Champion John Cena and Ric Flair were backstage. Cena was excited about tagging with Shawn Michaels for the WWE RAW World Tag Team titles. Flair said that Cena should be excited, but reminds him that Michaels is focused on making a statement. He then lays out a possible scenario of Cena & Michaels winning the tag team titles, then, as their hands are rasied in victory, Michaels stares at Cena to send a message and hits him with a superkick. Flair then leaves as Cena ponders that possibility.
2-1 NWA-TNA iMPACT
Kip James and Christy Hemme were yelling at each other in Jim Cornette's office as B. G. James looked on helplessly. Cornette finally demanded they stop and asked Hemme to explain her case. She said that she wanted an apology from Kip and if she didn't get it, she demanded he be terminated. Kip said that if she wanted an apology, he had one, then gave her a crotch chop. Cornette said if Hemme wanted revenge on Kip, she should marry him. He then said that she would have a match at the Against All Odds PPV against an opponent to be announced later.
Sting was seen in the rafters wearing a mask like Abyss after Father James Mitchell challenged him to face Abyss in a Prison Yard Match at the Against All Odds PPV.
A. J. Styles def. Samoa Joe by DQ when Rhino interfered.
A. J. Styles joined NWA World Champion Christian Cage in a 2-on-1 attack against Samoa Joe after Joe and Kurt Angle had come to blows in the ring. A. J. gave both Joe & Angle chairshots, laying them out.
