NEWS
The Score?s Arda Ocal sat down with Jerry Lawler for an interview and among the highlights of part 1 were how his illustrations gave him his break in pro wrestling, never having a major injury, especially to his knees, despite never wearing kneepads and performing a second rope fist drop which lands him on his knees almost every match, never having a sip of alcohol, never smoking or doing drugs and did he ever feel pressure to do so being in an entertainment business, having an extensive Coca Cola memorabilia collection in his house, how much interest Jerry Lawler has in competing in the ring today vs doing commentary (a surprising answer, especially how often he has matches today). Part 2 highlights include a funny story where Jerry Lawler got sued in Louisiana by a female fan for "spitting" on her, but the real reason comes out in the courtroom, Lawler?s relationship with David Letterman today, memories of re-enacting the famous Andy Kaufman slap on the "Late Night" on the movie "Man on the Moon', and Lawler hoping to be a guest on Letterman on the 30th anniversary of the slap, how Andy Kaufman deserves to be in the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame, the interesting differences between working with Michael Cole and working with Jim Ross, both on camera and off, plus Jerry draws Batman and talks about his current art projects. There is also a giveaway for the signed Batman drawing that you can enter. Both parts of the interview can be viewed by clicking here.
