March 31 IZW Review

Jermaine Johnson was jumped by Brandon Bishop?s crew at the end of the night and took several chair shots to the body but not before he gave the new look IZW Heavyweight Champion, Aaron Neil, a throttling. But it was Neil and his crew who had the last laugh as Johnson was once again left lifeless in the middle of the ring. Neil not only changed his values in aligning with Bishop, but he completely changed his look, as now the Champ is a blonde and sports a completely new wresting attire. The ?Bronze Bull? as Neil likes to go by, is an altogether different person now that the is with Bishop?s stable and for longtime fans of his it is heartbreaking.

The 2012 Impact Player of the Year Tournament continued as Jordan Jacobs defeated the Easter Bunny to advance to the second round. It was a joke of a match, but when you?re aligned with the Commissioner you get to have a gimme match like this. One thing?s for certain, Jacobs will face much stiffer competition in the later rounds.

Bryan Cruize defeated Kevin Morgan to also advance to the second round of the 2012 Impact Player of the Year Tournament. The win makes three in a row for Cruize over Morgan. Morgan needs to regroup and figure out a different form of attack as Cruize seems to be his kryptonite.
