The Scoop

NEWS
Beth Phoenix posted on Twitter last week "I get ZERO respect. I should be featured in magazines, being a guest star. The entire WWE has it all backwards. I AM the face of the Divas. I am tired of having no competition and being pushed aside. Its time to do something about it."
Chase Stevens, who was part of the tag team The Naturals with Andy Douglas in TNA for many years, got a tryout backstage at the March 12th RAW show in Cleveland, OH. Stevens attended both the RAW and SmackDown tapings last week. He posted on Facebook last Tuesday, "Columbus, OH for Smackdown tonight. I?m as ready as I?ll ever be."
Buried among the WWE.com news stories is the video of Mil Mascaras' Hall of Fame announcement. The video was supposed to air last Monday during RAW but there was no place on the broadcast for the two minute and ten second presentation due to other segments that ran over. Mil Mascaras was announced to be joining the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2012 in mid-October during the SmackDown tapings in Mexico City. On that night, Triple H came out and introduced the legendary masked luchadore to the Mexican crowd. Mascaras is the uncle of former WWE champion Alberto Del Rio and Del Rio and is expected to be the one inducting him come March 31st.
Both Joey Styles and Jim Ross have talked about the Ric Flair attending the WWE Hall of Fame issue pushing that TNA should just let him do it and Styles even said that if they don't, it would be classless.
Joey Styles has pushed for Paul Heyman to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year when they are in New Jersey. He also pushed for Bill Apter to be put in and said Jim Ross should be announcing the Undertaker vs. HHH match at this year's WrestleMania, since they are pushing it as the end of an era and Ross was the announcer of that era.
Jim Ross was in Florida Championship Wrestling all last week and on Thursday did the announcing with William Regal on one full show and part of another for TV tapings that will air in a few weeks.
The word going around is that Evan Bourne?s suspension for a second wellness policy violation ended on March 18th. PWInsider.com reports that despite internet reports that he could be let go by the company, there is talk of him returning and working a program with Jack Swagger, although he isn?t currently scheduled for any upcoming WWE events. Bourne is being considered for a spot on Teddy Long?s team at WrestleMania.
WWE has signed Derek Foore to a developmental contract. Foore was scouted by Gerald Brisco at last year?s NAIA championship. Foore was wrestling for Notre Dame College in Ohio, and is said to have a good athletic physique. He placed second in NAIA championships in 2011, losing in the finals 2-1. He competed at 197 pounds in 2010. According to Twitter posts from Smith Hart (brother of Bret Hart), Foore trained with him and Bruce Hart in Calgary, Albreta, Canada last summer.

Shane Douglas attended "WWE Monday Night RAW" in Philadelphia, PA last night, and was seated a few rows from the ringside area.
