WWE: Beth Phoenix Puts Hands on Maria Menounos, WrestleMania Match Announced

During Kelly Kelly's promotional stop for WrestleMania at NBC's Extra, Diva's Champion Beth Phoenix made her presence felt. She arrived with new gal pal Eve Torres.

The two confronted Extra host Maria Menounos and Kelly Kelly about who is deserving of the spotlight.

Beth remains that she belongs on the promotional tour because she is the Diva's Champ, this is something that she has been saying for a few weeks now on RAW. Eve backed her up, no doubt that with Eve's new storyline she's only using Beth to get closer to the title, but that is beside the point.

Kelly Kelly stood quietly by while Eve, Beth and Maria went back and forth. This resulted in Beth delivering a sturdy grab to Maria's chin and in the process of security swooping Beth and Eve away, Beth challenged Maria to a battle at WrestleMania.

Let us not forget Maria pinned Beth once before in a match at Tribute for the Troops.

It's official that there will be a tag team match between Kelly Kelly and Maria versus Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres at WrestleMania. Maybe Eve will use this as an opportunity to further her new character and storyline.

It's also interesting to see the WWE using other avenues besides The Rock to receive promotion for WrestleMania.

WrestleMania is shaping up and now add Maria to the list of celebrities who will be involved.
