Once Again, McDaniels Suffers The Abuse At The Underground

A few months ago, fans witnessed the amazing as L. J. McDaniels, one of the least athletic individuals in the wrestling business, won the SWCW Hardcore Title.
He only held it for one show, though. And the fans were thrilled when Kareem Sadat delivered abuse the likes of which hadn't been seen in the Underground Arena in a long time en route to reclaiming that belt. The match went all over the arena, even taking a detour into the bathroom where McDaniels got to revisit his high school days by being on the receiving end of a swirly.
If McDaniels thought those days were behind him, he was sorely mistaken. While it's true that the manager for the Franchise Players had certainly experienced a growth of success, including putting the SWCW Tag Team Titles under his control, it's not as if more respect were coming his way.
Last Sunday, SWCW Tag Team Champion Rick Russo took on Kevin James Sanchez in the opening match on that afternoon's card. The match proceded as expected until all of the Franchise Players that were present jumped in the ring. McDaniels & John E. Stone held a staple gun to Sanchez's head until the unexpected arrival of Carnage and Draven Cross. Sanchez rewarded Cross for his assistance with a match for SWCW's "Hardcore Hallelujah" event and Carnage was given a match later in the card against Shawn Sanders.
Meanwhile, McDaniels was right back in the middle of things when John E. Stone took on Austin Tacious. McDaniels had been actively pursuing Tacious as a possible member of the Franchise Players, but Tacious continually refused and today was no different. McDaniels made his presence known all during the match, ultimately providing enough interference for Stone to connect with a Tomikaze to get the win.
McDaniels was supposed to be at ringside for the Shawn Sanders' match as well, but as soon as Carnage made his way through the curtain, McDaniels wanted nothing to do with the whole situation. He bolted out of the front door, but that couldn't save him from the announcement that Kevin James Sanchez made after that match. He proposed an 8-man tag team match with all the Shawn Sanders & the Franchise Players (including McDaniels) vs. X-Rated and two mystery partners. Those partners turned out to be Rick Garett & SWCW Hardcore Champion Kareem Sadat, who immediately targeted McDaniels. Everytime McDaniels got in the ring, he would end up on the receiving end of a shot from the staple gun that Garrett brought with him. And the staples were everywhere, sometimes in his forehead (where Sadat stapled a picture of himself) and sometimes in his butt.
X-Rated's team would wind up winning the match and McDaniels helped orchestrate some post-match chaos, including a shot to the head by the Sanders which resulted in Sanchez being diagnosed with a concussion. This put him out of the Las Vegas Street Fight that he had set up for the SWCW Tag Team Titles between the Franchise Players & X-Rated and a partner for Kyzer has yet to be named. But it wasn't all bad news as Sadat finished his appearance by offering a handshake to McDaniels, which he warily accepted, only to end up with a bowl of nacho cheese and chili dumped on top of his head.
All the abuse to McDaniels may provide the motivation he needs in order to come out successful at Hardcore Hallelujah this Saturday. It's the last SWCW announced for the time being, due to the proposed ban of pro wrestling by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission. If this is truly the end for SWCW , McDaniels wants to go out with a bang and send the Franchise Players away on top of tag team scene.
