WWE News: Vickie Guerrero Gives Swagger/Ziggler Tag Team Official Name?

Over at her official Twitter page, WWE manager Vickie Guerrero has hinted that the company has finally come up with a proper name for the tag team of Dolph Ziggler and current US Champion Jack Swagger.

Discussing the stable's appearance on tonight's edition of Smackdown, the villainous valent wrote: "Watch Smackdown tonight on SyFy channel. I'm looking forward to watching my stable in action...it's pure 'American Perfection.'"

Assuming "American Perfection" is their name, it makes sense, due to Swagger's All-American gimmick and Ziggler's Mr. Perfect-like persona.

Guerrero has been working with young star Dolph Ziggler since the summer of 2010, with the pair stated to be in a romantic relationship, once again playing up Guerrero's "cougar" image. Originally, the two were on the blue brand, but they ended up moving over to Raw last year after SD GM Teddy Long fired them both for attempting to sabotage him (Guerrero abusing her power to mess with her ex-husband Edge played a part too).

Upon arriving on Raw, Guerrero struck a business relationship with the aimless mid-carder Jack Swagger, who was still trying to recover from his disastrous World Heavyweight Championship run and subsequent de-push in 2010, with the feisty manager promising to help and boost his flagging career.

Initially Ziggler was unhappy with Swagger muscling in on his territory and, in true TNA fashion, the two tag partners had barely formed a team before they were arguing and bickering over the attentions of Vickie on various episodes of the show. That said, they soon reconciled and, in recent months, have been working as a true cohesive unit.
