WWE News: Jim Ross Comments on Possible Return to the Announce Table?
Posted: Feb 26th 2012 By: mikeiles
Jim Ross is without a doubt the greatest announcer in the history of professional wrestling.
Since joining the WWE in 1993, he has called some of the greatest matches in history, and with his brilliant commentary, has made the overall product of the company more exciting and fun to watch.
Over the last few years, Ross has been on and off of WWE TV in various storylines, and the latest was his firing by Interim General Manager of RAW John Laurinaitis.
Wrestling fans as a whole are anxiously waiting on Ross' return to the announce table.
That return could be sooner, rather than later. On Jim Ross' official Twitter account, a fan asked Ross if he was coming back to the WWE as an announcer. Ross replied with the following:
Jim Ross ‏ @JRsBBQ
?@TerryTheTitan: @JRsBBQ Possible we will see u again on the announce table again? That's possible. To be determined.
The comment from Ross should not be taken as 100 percent fact, but it could be an overtone of a possible return to the announce table for the iconic commentator.
If Jim Ross were to return to the WWE as a full-time announcer, hopefully he would stay permanently and not be subject to yet another sub-par story-line that ends up with him being fired yet again.
Jim Ross is desperately needed in the WWE, to combat the monotony of Michael Cole, and the nonsensical commentary of Booker T.
Ross is to the WWE like peanut butter is to jelly; you can't have one without the other.
