The Forsaken at the center of Tag Team Title Turmoil in TPW

TPW Tag Team Champions The Forsaken have found themselves in the middle of some stiff competition in recent weeks in TPW. Twice they?ve faced the challenge of Mid-South Tag Team Champions The Red Dirt Outlaws. The Outlaws, who defeated the Forsaken for the Mid-South Tag Team Title, tried to double their gold holdings 2 weeks ago by focusing on Halo?s knee, but the Forsaken would not go down that easily. Last Friday, the Outlaws tried to continue the attack on the knee of Halo, but the Forsaken were ready for this attack and eliminated the Outlaws in 47 seconds!!

Meanwhile, other challengers have been gearing up for the Forsaken. Former TPW Tag Team Champions Sexy Bologna reformed 2 weeks ago. This team, which was accidentaly formed as a result of a battle royal to determine new tag team champions last year, proved that they were more than a fluke and want to reestablish that reputation. Challenging them for the #1 contendership is New Canada. Dr. Jon Davis lead his squad of terrorists from north of the border to try and resecure the tag team titles he & AWOL held longer than any other team in TPW history. But with AWOL missing in action in recent weeks, Davis and his crew have had to rebuild New Canada and a match between Sexy Bologna and the Canucks last Friday resulted in a double DQ, leaving the #1 contendership vacant as of press time.

Also lurking out there is the reunited team of former TPW Tag Team Champions Brian Lakewood & Butch Dalton. And rumours are abounding of a team from Texas making their way to TPW.
