WWE '12: Mick Foley Announced as the 2nd Legend in the January DLC Pack!
Posted: Nov 16th 2011 By: mikeiles
Mick Foley has been announced as the second DLC character in the upcoming Legends pack for WWE ?12.
After seeing him last night on Raw, I believe a lot of fans will be pumped about both Foley and The Rock featuring in this game. Here are the details as revealed by THQ;
"He's BACK! As the second reveal in our DLC 3 Legends Pack, you can cause your own mayhem with the hardcore legend. Yes, he can take punishment, but has there ever been a Superstar that can dish out more with no remorse, than Foley? Mick can help you re-form the "Rock 'n Sock Connection" if you purchase the DLC Pack 3 and also pre-order WWE '12 for The Rock. But after last night's Raw, I'm sure you'll give Foley a "Rock Bottom" or two with "The Great One."
Now, I am not too bothered about his inclusion if it is simply going to be him as himself.
I?d like to see the alternate characters he portrayed in his tenure with the WWE; Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love. Hell, I?d be happy with the first two!
Mick Foley did not really get much of a reaction for his ?This Is Your Life? segment on Raw last night, which leads me to believe the current generation are no longer interested in a hardcore legend that no longer has the ability to be hardcore, given the current PG rules and regulations the WWE adhere to.
Despite this, the game features more hardcore elements than its television counterpart and therefore Mick Foley will be a welcome addition to the game for those who wish to recreate those huge matches of the past.
The main reason to buy him right now though is to Rock Bottom him in the middle of the ring just like last night on Raw.
Mr. Socko?s inclusion is yet to be revealed, but I?ll be sure to let you know when he is confirmed.
I?ll also be back when the final character in the legends pack is revealed.
Have a nice day!
