Jack Swagger called into the "Soscia Network Radio Show" in Philadelphia, PA to promote RAW in Philadelphia on December 19th. Among the subjects the covered were His college days, how Jim Ross took notice of him in college and what he said to him about getting into the business, his time in time in Deep South, OVW and FCW developmental, teaming with the late "Dr. Death" Steve Williams, his TV father Bunkhouse Buck, and much more. Following last Monday?s angle on Raw in which Jerry Lawler was slammed by Mark Henry on a non-gimmicked announcers table, Lawler was taken to a Cleveland area hospital by ambulance with a lower back injury.

According to various wrestling media reports, it isn?t believed that Jerry Lawler ended up at the hospital last Monday night as previously reported. Jim Ross had indicated a few hours after the show via Twitter that Lawler was in a lot of pain following the spot where he was put through the announce table by Mark Henry. While it was true that miscommunication was a major issue in that they ended up not using a gimmicked announce table for the spot, Lawler was spotted at the Cleveland Indians game on Tuesday and told a wrestling fan that he is doing fine physically. They may keep him off TV to help sell it as a storyline using footage of Henry?s attack.

Right now there is talk of Booker T coming back to wrestle in a short program on SmackDown similar to how RAW uses Jerry Lawler.

Jim Ross put over Mark Henry on Sean Pendergast?s radio show in Houston, TX. He also talks about Matt Hardy describing his situation as ?heartbreaking? but is glad that Matt is apparently getting the help he needs in WWE-sponsored rehab. To listen to the show, click here.

Robert Aitken of BleacherReport.com counted down what he feels were WWF's 18 best matches of the 1980's. Among the countdown was the Saturday Night's Main Event match of Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant that featured the evil Hebner twin referee, the Bruno Sammartino-Larry Zbyszko Steel Cage Match from Shea Stadium in Flushing, NY, the Jimmy Snuka-Don Muraco Steel Cage Match that saw Snuka dive off the top of the cage (and famously attended by a young Mick Foley), and many more. Mick Foley was having fun on Twitter last week teasing returning as a guest referee at WWE's "Hell in a Cell" pay-per-view.

Ric Flair was at Fenway Park in Boston, MA to visit the Boston Red Sox last week and present a replica TNA World Heavyweight title to big Ric Flair fans Dustin Pedroia and Josh Reddick. The appearance was kept as a surprise and Flair said that the Red Sox contacted his agents to see if he would make it to the game. Flair said that while he wrestled in Boston ?a million times,? he never actually went to Fenway Park. Flair gave a big ?Whooooo? during the TV interview with the reporter who completely screwed up the opening line when introducing Flair to the audience. Ric Flair voiced his own character in the season premiere episode of ?The Cleveland Show? on FOX. The show aired on September 25th. The show did a 3.8 rating on the overnights, down from the 4.2 it did the week before.

Thursday's ESPN show with Dan LeBatard asking if Dan, a big wrestling fan, or his dad, would be more likely to watch TNA's "Impact Wrestling" that night to see the Hogan vs. Sting feud. Dan said that he wouldn't watch and his dad thought wrestling was all fake so his dad would be more likely to watch, just to see if it's still fake.

Smith Hart posted on Twitter last week: "Al Snow has been confirmed for the Stampede Re-Launch in Barrie, ON on Nov 6."

During the Oklahoma at Florida State college football game on September 17th, ABC used Gangrel?s old WWF entrance music during a promo package for the Sooners that aired during the game.

John Bradshaw Layfield posted the following on Twitter last week: "RIP Big Bossman-anniversary of his death. I miss the ?heh, heh? and the headshake-funny guy and a great friend. We had some great times!"

They are teasing that for the Awesome Wrestling Entertainment October 15th PPV show that Diamond Dallas Page will take Marvin Ward's place as Kevin Nash's partner against Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson. That's not official, but they are certainly teasing a storyline that ends in that direction. The new poster for the Night of Legends show has photos of those four as the featured players.

Platinum Championship Wrestling honors someone within the wrestling industry that has made a positive impact on the sport. Last year, Gary Juster received recognition. This year, Thunderbolt Patterson will be on hand to receive a plaque and the fans in attendance will not only get to meet this legend, but a special video highlighting Thunderbolt's career will be shown. The narration of the video is by "The Revelation" Shane Marx, and the footage and pictures in the video were provided by Chuck Thornton. The ceremony took place at "Sacred Ground: Chapter Two" on September 24th in McDonough, GA.

Ring Of Honor began airing on Oklahoma City's CW 34 this past Saturday Night at 9pm. It repeated at 2am Sunday morning.
