MissouriWrestlingRevival.com is currently in the midst of counting down the Top 30 Tag Teams of the MWR era. Coming in at #19 are The LONRs (Darrien Sanders & Mark Sterling). The LONRs wrestled 2 matches at an NWA-OK show in Tahlequah in June 2008 and also wrestled at a MWA show in Spavinaw in December 2008. Sanders is no longer in wrestling leaving the sport to pursue a career in MMA while Sterling resurfaced in MWA along side Mike Sydal as The M. U. S. C. L. E. Club in April 2009 and most recently wrestled a singles match at the WLW show in Sand Springs this past April and is one of the most traveled wrestlers around wrestling for various promotions in Missouri, Kansas, and Illinois, as well wrestling a couple of matches for Ring of Honor in the past year. There was only one real change under the "new regime" on RAW last week as fan favorite Jim Ross was brought back to do play-by-play. Triple H ? who was described as the Chief Operating Officer - welcomed back J. R. during his "State of the WWE address" on RAW, and it looks like it will be a three-way broadcast team going forward with Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole keeping their places. "Its good to be 'Home.'. Hopefully I'll get to stay a while," said Ross on Twitter following the end of the broadcast. Other wrestling personalities were also happy to see the Hall of Famer back. "Happy to see my Okie pal @JRsBBQ back where he belongs-calling Raw," said former WWE champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield on Twitter. "I literally just POL (popped out loud)-good ole @jrsbbq returns! Well, it really does look like business is about to pick up," added Trish Stratus. Mick Foley also tweeted about Jim Ross' comeback, saying, "YES! @JRSBBQ is BACK! I dig Cole, but, hey, J. R. is J. R.!"

Dusty Rhodes will guest host the September 23rd WWE house show in Albuquerque, NM.

CM Punk mentioned a handful of former WWE superstars that have left the company, including Mick Foley and he responded via Twitter: ?Hey, you guys weren?t kidding; @cmpunk really did give me a shout-out on @WWE#RAW ! I?m suddenly a big deal to my younger kids -thanks Punk!?

Mick Foley also posted on Twitter: "The announcement at McGuire?s on 8/4 will only be big, NOT major ? nothing that will change the face of wrestling. Still big to me, though."

Mick Foley on Twitter when asked if he was coming back to WWE, said he was considering it right now. He posted on Twitter: "Thanks to everyone who has shared ideas or hopes for my return to WWE. I?m sure I?ll do something with them, somewhere, at some time."

Kurt Angle has been pushing again of late for Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin to jump over from Ring of Honor to TNA to reunite Team Angle. Angle made his plea last week on Twitter.

The current plan is for Kurt Angle to beat Sting for the TNA World Title at next week?s "Hardcore Justice" pay-per-view, and then retain the title heading into October?s "Bound for Glory" pay-per-view, which will be held in Angle?s home state of Pennsylvania. "Bound For Glory" will be held in Philadelphia, while Angle is originally from Pittsburgh.

It has been reported that Highspots offered Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior $100,000 each to do a face-to-face DVD.

Jimmy Snuka visited the clubhouse of the Philadelphia Phillies at the home stadium, Citizens Bank Park, on July 26th. Snuka has lived in Cherry Hill, NJ since the late 70's and is a big Phillies fan. Snuka was interviewed while sitting in the Phillies dugout and speaks of his love for baseball in a video you can view by clicking here. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins is opening his own independent wrestling promotion, reports PWInsider. Corgan has been a long-time fan of professional wrestling and dabbled in wrestling during a feud with Lou E. Dangerously in the Paul Heyman ECW days. He is being billed as the creative director for the promotion, dubbed Resistance Pro and will make an official announcement at Wizard World Chicago in mid-August regarding plans for the promotion. Smashing Pumpkins recently shot a music video featuring wrestling personalities such as Raven and Cheerleader Melissa.

The inaugural Badlands Wrestling Company show in Tulsa got shut down Friday halfway through the opening match by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission representative. The event was supposed to happen inside the Eclipse club, but the space wasn?t large enough. Initially, they got permission to set the ring up outside behind the club, but given the environment there, combined with a conflict with the construction supervisor for a new facility next door to the Eclipse, the owner decided he did not want to be responsible for any potential injuries and requested the show be shut down.

Moses Manson had rotator cuff surgery Monday. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery.
