Sgt. Slaughter To Appear At Military Appreciation Night

Wrestling fans all over Washington are excited to meet WWE legend Sgt. Slaughter who will be appearing at the Everett AquaSox Military Appreciation Night on Friday, August 26th at 7:05 p.m. On this night the frogs take on their cross state rivals the Yakima Bears in Northwest League action. Come out to meet the Sarge, get an autograph or photo during the game. Slaughter is a former World Heavyweight champion, United States Heavyweight Champion and World Tag Team Champion and has roots in the Pacific Northwest. the Sarge wrestled in the early part of his career for Don Owens Portland Wrestling and Seattle based Big Time Wrestling. Slaughter is an American hero who besides wrestling, has been involved with the legendary action figures G.I Joe and was a real life person featured in cartoon form in an animated series about the famous toys. the Sarge will throw out the first pitch before the game and sign autographs throughout and be involved with the great American tradition of singing ?take me out to the ball game? during the 7th inning stretch.
