Review of Honky Tonk Man's Return To YouShoot

He?s cool, he?s cocky and for the fourth or fifth time (depending if you count being cranked called by Lacey Von Erich) the Honky Tonk Man is back on a Kayfabe Commentaries DVD. He?s sitting down again for the series he gave birth to, YouShoot! He was the initial guest on the series four years ago and HTM and Sean Oliver remind the viewers of it a couple of times.

Here?s the topics listed for HTM to speak on: Gimmick, the boys, drugs, health, heat, shooting, sex, Dear Honky, Potpourri & the Dirt. HTM gets involved in the YouShoot games that were not fully realized when he sat down with Sean like the Ho Bag, What?s in the Bag, What a Dick (but not the Roll-A-Joint championship) plus some new games like the Tournament of Badasses, the Mugshot Game & the Medicine Man game.

Having seen his visit to the Timeline: History of the WWE series (he sat in for 1987) I learned HTM has an excellent memory for detail & does not hold anything back and he does not here while taking shots at his contemporaries like Jerry Lawler, Dusty Rhodes, Bret Hart, former WWF road agent Jay Strongbow, Hulk Hogan & Ric Flair. Along with that he shares stories of Jim Ross, Haku, Randy Savage (this was taped before the passing a few weeks ago), the Undertaker, King Kong Bundy, Billy Jack Haynes, Andre the Giant, Lou Thesz, Bruiser Brody, Raven, New Jack, Jake Roberts, Buck Zumhofe, the Iron Sheik, doing drugs with Tully Blanchard who was the worst performer that was son of a promoter & who was the best practical joke artist of all time. The usual cast of characters called ?wrestling fans? emailed and sent in videos that made HTM nearly laugh his way off the shoot, plus wrestlers like the Blue Meanie, Bushwhacker Luke, Matt Borne (dressed as Doink), Danny Doring, Tori & Perry Saturn. Enjoy as he talks about his ?love? of receiving a chest chops, where he gets his TNA Wrestling gossip and more.

This is a great DVD and I hope the others coming in the series live up. The ?Summer of YouShoot? continues according to the www.kayfabecommentaries.com continues with the resurfacing of Perry Saturn on July 19th and a visit from Danny Doring on August 9th while taking submissions for the Chyna YouShoot that are due by July 24th by writing youshootdvd@gmail.com
