BREAKING: Ric Flair arrives in Atlanta and is attending WWE Hall of Fame event
Posted: Apr 2nd 2011 By: mikeiles
As if this weekend wasn't wild enough, with WrestleMania and the Hall of Fame competing with the NCAA Final Four, major league news has risen out of Atlanta which is the site of this weekend's World Wrestling Entertainment festivities.
Former NWA, WCW, and WWE World Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair has arrived in Atlanta and will be attending the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony this weekend prior to WrestleMania XXVII. PWInsider is reporting that Flair will be in attendance to watch Shawn Michaels be inducted into the Hall, as it was Michaels who "retired" Flair in 2008 at WrestleMania XXIV in a Career Threatening Match. The stipulation was that if Flair lost the match, his in-ring career would be over. Of course we all know by now that Flair returned to wrestling in 2010 during a live edition of TNA "Impact" and went to the locker room.
More information about this breaking news could be made more public as the Hall of Fame gets closer, but it is interesting to know that a CURRENT TNA star will be in attendance at a WWE event. If more information is released about Flair's arrival, you can check back here as it is made available.
