WLW ON 3/12 featuring Ric Flair & Harley Race

World League Wrestling (WLW) proudly announces the next big event in Eldon, MO. Alongside of the 8-time World Heavyweight Champion and wrestling Hall-of-Famer ?The King? Harley Race, is 16-time World Heavyweight Champion and wrestling Hall-of Famer ?The Nature Boy? Ric Flair. This is the first time that ?The Nature Boy? and ?The King? have joined together for Race?s promotion World League Wrestling, headquartered in Eldon, MO. The event will take place March 12, 2011 in Eldon, MO at the Eldon Community Center. The event is a fundraising opportunity for the Dogwood State School P.T.O. Doors open at 6:00 pm and bell time is at 7:00 pm. Arrangements for an autograph session with Ric Flair will be released shortly. This autograph session will take place at T. Murdock?s Bar and Grill.
Ric Flair?s credentials are second to none. His legendary status that he has achieved in professional wrestling is rarely ever reached. This icon has competed all over the world for decades, won titles from top contenders, and beaten many wrestlers of yesterday and today. This has earned him places in the WWE Hall-of-Fame (2008) and the Professional Wrestling Hall-of-Fame (2006) amongst many other honors. Ric Flair rarely makes appearances outside of TNA wrestling, this appearance is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to meet both Flair and Race.
Harley Race also holds his own renowned status in professional wrestling. Many wrestlers of yesterday, today, and tomorrow consider Harley to be one of the best wrestlers of all time. He has competed in nearly every country around the world, where he defended the NWA World?s Heavyweight Championship on countless occasions. After retiring from in-ring competition, Race went on to a managerial role, managing wrestlers such as Big Van Vader and Lex Luger. His prominent career has earned him many honors and awards such as the WWE Hall of Fame (2004) and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame (2004).
After Race retired from professional wrestling, he moved to Lake Ozark, MO and opened a world-class wrestling academy (located in Eldon, MO). Here, he teaches the correct way to have a match, ring psychology and overall ring fitness.
