Lapointe, Hardaway join forces to defend SRPW

Posted: Aug 9th 2005 By: oklastaff

For over a year and a half, former tag team partners Luc Lapointe and Dexter Hardaway have been trying to eliminate each other from SRPW. They have each formed their own factions: Luc with the Fraternity Of Sin and Dexter temporarily reforming Generation X. Luc even went so far as to get Dexter declared medically unfit and suspended from action in SRPW for a few months.

It appeared that the final chapter in that feud was going to happen Friday, Aug 5, 2005. Dexter had just reintroduced his former "Stud Factory" tag team partner Chuck Singer when Luc came out to confront Dexter. Luc then challenged Dexter to a loser leaves SRPW match for later that night.

The match came about and it appeared that Dexter was going to win on a count-out when The New Dynasty (Sonny C, Jack Legacy and Mitch Carter) came to the ring and interfered in the match. At first, they just attacked Dexter, but then Sonny said some derogatory comments to Luc and he charged back into the ring to save his former Northern Threat partner. A large portion of the SRPW locker room soon arrived to drive the New Dynasty away. The trio would not leave before attacking SRPW ring announcer Ray Martinez and threatning SRPW owner Sarah Harmon.

Dexter and Luc shook hands after the incident and Luc pledged to defend his company from the invaders. No parties would comment further on this situation, but Luc and Dexter have been wrestlers long enough that they may bring in some more support in their defence of SRPW.
