Former Florida Star Passes Away
Posted: Dec 8th 2010 By: mikeiles
Galton ?Skip? Young, whose biggest run came in Florida as part of a headlining tag team with Bruce Reed (later Butch Reed), using the name Sweet Brown Sugar, passed away on Sunday in the Dallas area.
We have no further details available, other than his funeral will be this coming Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Inspiring Body of Christ Church in Dallas.
Young, who was best friends with David Von Erich before either became pro wrestlers, was notable for having incredible leaping ability and one of the best dropkicks in the business. But even with his friendship and sports background, he never got that big of a push in Texas.
He would likely be in his early 50s.
