Varsity Provokes Conflict With Member Of The Green Country Roller Girls

Professional wrestling has seen its share of misogynistic characters. Now a new one seems to have joined the ranks in Oklahoma. His name is J. B. Varsity.
Varsity, who is atttempting to make a name for himself in AWF and MSPW, has seen fit to stick his nose in the ongoing issue between Kyle Everlast and AWF Champion Justin Sane. But while that gets him some noticeability, that doesn't seem to be enough for him. And his actions crossed the line this past Saturday at the AWF event.
Varsity had two matches booked for that show. First, he received a shot at AWF Champion Justin Sane and, to his credit, knew that this might be the biggest moment of his fledgling career. So he attacked Sane before the match began. Varsity looked to be in control during the first half of the match, but Sane rallied back and connected with the splash from the second rope. As he went for the pin, Kyle Everlast ran out and interfered, earning Sane a win by DQ. Varsity and Everlast both double teamed the champion until Khaos arrived to make the save.
All of that was pretty normal for a wrestling event. But the next time J. B. Varsity arrived, things became very unique.
Varsity's second opponent was the masked competitor known as The Flava. Varsity & the Flava had been first round opponents in the AWF Title tournament last month. In that encounter, Varsity had dispatched Flava with a Sharpshooter. This month, it seemed that Varsity wasn't even concentrating on his opponent. Instead, he grabbed the mic and demanded that Khaos come out and face him. Khaos arrived, but sat in a front row seat simply to observe the action. Varsity, the consumate bully, poked fun at Khaos, calling him "Jonah" in reference to a whale comparison made earlier. He also made reference to the Green Country Roller Girls, who had a table set up at the event and were promoting an upcoming event the next day. Varsity said that menwoudl always be the superior athletes, then speicifically told the GCRG that they needed to be in the kitchen, making him dinner for after his match.
This vocal diatribe seemed to come out of nowhere as Varsity had always been one to allow his actions in the ring do his speaking for him. And when The Flava arrived accompanied by two additional members of the GCRG, Varsity knew that he had his hands full. But he had a plan to deal with this unexpected addition. And his plan came off without any hitch. Almost.
After the match was over and Varsity had once again disposed of The Flava, Whiskey Birmingham, one of the GCRG members who had accompanied The Flava to ringside, hopped in the ring to check on him. This brought Varsity over and he proceded to get in her face, saying "the party's over". Birmingham, who wanted nothing to do with the woman-hating ex-jock, slapped Varsity hard across the face. And then Varsity was met with a huge clothesline from Khaos, who had snuck in the ring behind Varsity while he was dealing with Birmingham.
Khaos took the microphone and said that he accepted Varsity's challenge for the next show. With it being man-on-man, perhaps Varsity will be forced to step up his game and live up to some of the potential that peeks through in his matches. Or perhaps he'll just fall back on the rude comments and cheap shortcuts that brought him success in his first two matches. Khaos is a totally different size and style of competitor though. And Varsity would be well suited to make sure he doesn't underestimate his opponent.
