"Tough" Tony Borne dies at age 83

Tony Borne died at his home this morning at the age of 83. Borne, real name Anthony Osborne, is the father of wrestler Matt Borne.
Borne was a wrestling star in the 1950's and 1960's, most famous in the Pacific Northwest. The tag team of him as Tough Tony Borne and Lonnie Mayne, who also wrestled as Moondog Mayne, was one of the most famous combinations in that territory. They held the Pacific Northwest Tag Team Title on 11 occasions.
Borne's son Matt followed his father into wrestling and was a major wrestling star in the Pacific Northwest as well as having national runs for WCW as Big Josh and for the WWF as Doink the Clown.
Borne's daughter was briefly married to Playboy Buddy Rose, which they turned into a wrestling angle.
Borne had been in poor health and was living in Milwaukie, Oregon.
