Ross Gives Striker an Extreme Ass-Whippin'

WWE Broadcast member Jim Ross was a surprise guest at the ECW television show broadcasting live from Tulsa this past Tuesday. Ross came out and thanked the crowd for attending. He said he was an ECW fan and watched every week. He also said that ECW reminded him of the old Mid-South Wrestling territory run by Bill Watts in Tulsa and the crowd responded with great support. But just as Ross was getting ready to wrap things up and go backstage, out comes Matt Striker.
Striker informed Ross and the crowd that he was there at the behest of ECW General Manager Paul Heyman. After listening to Ross speak, Striker said it's apparent that Ross is just like all the other Oklahoma people present: he's uneducated. He made a point of proclaiming Ross to be blue collar and old, saying he probably likes to drink beer and asking where his cane is. At that point, the Sandman appeared behind Striker. Striker attempted to beg off of an attack, but that's no good. Sandman wolloped Striker with his Singapore cane, then, in something of a surprise gesture, offered the cane to Ross. Ross gratiously took the cane and proceded to (in words I'm sure Ross would have used) beat him like a government mule. After Striker retreated to the back, Sandman offered a beer to Ross. Before Ross took it, he took the microphone and proclaimed that he was about to toast a beer with the next ECW World Champion!
This marked Ross' first appearance in ECW. Sadly, his ability to tell the future did not turn out so well as The Big Show defeated The Sandman in a match where Sandman's Singapore cane was legal. Although Sandman dominated the match at the beginning, Matt Striker came out and snatched the cane away. Without his great equaliser, Sandman was easily overpowered and his bid for his 6th ECW World title was squashed.
Tulsa wasn't the only place that Ross got involved in physical action. Monday night at RAW in Oklahoma City after the show went off the air, Ross was confronted by someone claiming to be a fan of the Oregon University . This individual took off much of his clothing and started to gyrate in Ross' presence until Ross hit him with a microphone, then kicked him out of the arena and wiped his butt with the University of Oregon shirt. This "fan" appeared to be the same male stripper that the Sandman caned in an early episode of ECW on Sci-Fi.
