More Cowardly Behaviour From Walker

More Cowardly Behaviour From Walker

Posted: Jul 15th 2010 By: CMBurnham

"Prime Time" Brandon Walker has done more than turn his back on the crowd at ComPro. He's become one of the worst examples of humanity ever. Walker shocked everyone when he returned to the federation still under the mask of El Super Colibri, but when he attacked his former partner Justin Lee, it unveiled a side of him rarely seen during his 4-year career.

Walker & Lee were set to resolve their differences on May 14 in a one-on-one match. 'That match quickly got out of control, spilling to the outside and seeing Lee vent his frustration by throwing Walker into the ringside table. Walker retaliated by catching Lee, who was climbing to the top rope, and trapping him in the Tree of Woe, standing on his knee. Justin was even able to reverse Brandon's "Defamation of Character" finisher. The finish saw some controversy as Justin blocked a hurancanrana and rolled Walker up, then put his hand on the ropes and got the pin. Walker caught Lee with the DoC after the match, but Justin recovered and connected with a superkick.

That was 2 months ago and was also the last time the two men competed opposite each other or even on the same card. But this past Saturday, ComPro returned to Perfect Practice and Walker had some matters to address in his own personal style. Justin was set to face Ignition in a one-on-one match and had the man beaten when Walker hit the ring and attacked Justin, causing a DQ. Once again the DoC was brought out and used, but once again, Justin recovered and demanded that Walker come back to the ring. Walker refused, simply staring at Lee while going back up the ramp.

Perhaps Walker was just cowardly. Or perhaps he knew he had to face someone who was close personally with Justin, one Max McGuirk. McGuirk, accompanied by his new valet Gorgeous Jessica, made a return to ComPro, marking his first appearance since returning from the WWE Developmental program in Florida. Fans hadn't forgotten him, but Walker was initially more interested in Jessica, getting in her face and actually shoving her. Jessica, though, was no shrinking violet and shoved right back and Walker quickly got the point. Max met everything that Walker had and seemed ready to bring a victory home when Walker, out of desperation, crotched McGuirk. Referee Chance Snodgrass tried to be lenient and let Walker off with a warning, but this just brought another shove from Walker, this time to the referee. Snodgrass saw no option but to call for a DQ, but Walker didn't care. As Walker went to work on McGuirk after the match was over, Justin arrived for the save. Again, Justin challenged Walker to face him in the ring and again, Walker refused, backing up the entranceway. He made an insincere attempt to suggest he'd return if McGuirk would clear the ring, but then once again became preoccupied with Jessica. Max slid out of the ring to her aid while Justin had seen all he could tolerate, leaping out of the ring and battling Walker through the entrance way.

The odds in this situation certainly seem to be in Lee's favour. He can call on his "Bad Bromance" partner Max McGuirk anytime he wants. Also, Walker's other former team partner, Tim Rockwell, has no nice feelings towards Walker these days. Walker's a man alone, but he seems to enjoy it that way. And perhaps he has a secret weapon out there just waiting for the proper moment to unveil.
