That's Amore! Valentino is Oklahoma Champion again!

Compound Pro Wrestling Champion Rocco Valentino notched another Oklahoma Title onto his belt when he captured the NWA-U Oklahoma Championship Friday night from John O'Malley.
Valentino thought he had tricked O'Malley out of the title last month when the two competitors faced off in a "First Blood" match. Valentino and manager Charming Charles used a packet of ketchup to simulate blood on the forehead of O'Malley, then left with the belt. But by the time they got to the back of the arena, the referee had discovered the chicanery and the decision was reversed. Valentino refused to turn the belt back over, saying the referee had declared him the winner and it was only through the threat of legal actions by the NWA-U board of directors that the championship was returned to the "Irish Phenom".
Valentino & Charles knew that the odds were stacked against them when they walked in to Tahlequah for their title opportunity. Charles would be handcuffed to NWA-U X Division Champion Justin Lee at ringside, fellow "POWER" members Slam Shady & Mason Hunter would be banned from ringside, and referee Mike Two would be on the lookout for any tricks that Valentino would be likely to pull. But the 10-year veteran had plans that no one could have anticipated.
O'Malley chose to work on Valentino's neck, which had been injured late last year by Texas Inc. and Valentino craftily used this to his advantage. Towards the end of the match, Valentino began to complain of great pain in the neck and have problems standing up. He then collapsed in the ring. Charles, Lee, O'Malley, and the referee all gathered around him to check on his condition. Even the NWA Universal TV cameraman put down his camera and started unwrapping Valentino's wrist tape to check his pulse. Charles begged Mike Two to uncuff him from Lee so he could check on his charge's condition and get him some help. This was done and, as Charles entered the ring, he went behind the Oklahoma Champion and gave him a nutshot. Valentino sprung to life and schoolboyed O'Malley. Mike Two made an incredibly swift 3-count and a new NWA Oklahoma Champion was crowned. Charles, Valentino & Mike Two all left the ring together leaving O'Malley and Lee staring in amazement along with the rest of the crowd.
O'Malley is the longest NWA Oklahoma Champion on record, holding that title since April 9, 2005. He still holds the IZW Cruiserweight Title and will be defending that in a ladder match against Kenny Campbell on September 16.
This is the 9th Oklahoma Title that Rocco Valentino has held. He is the only man to hold Oklahoma Heavyweight Titles in 4 seperate federations.
