1st Compound Pro Champion announced
Posted: Aug 23rd 2006 By: CMBurnham
As the Compound Pro Manager, it was our job to select the first Compound Pro Champion. With SRPW and TPW closing down in rapid succession, we could have had a tournament or a battle royal to crown our new Compound Pro Champion. We decided to look at all of the available champions and eventually decided on eight-time Oklahoma Champion, five-time Tag Team Champion and current Oklahoma Old School Champion Rocco Valentino. Compound Pro Champion Rocco Valentino will not have an easy road to keeping his title. We contacted former SRPW Champion Bobby Burns to be Rocco's first challenger, but the "Bonecrusher" is booked in Arkansas this Saturday. Bobby Burns has expressed interest in challenging for the Compound Pro title when his schedule allows. We have lined up a former multi-time champion to be the first challenger this Saturday. When the documents get signed, we will release this star's name. Look for all of your favorite stars this Saturday night as well as some wrestlers that you NEVER thought you would see together in a wrestling ring again.
