8-13-06 NWA-TNA PPV: Hard Justice

NWA World Tag Team Champions A.J. Styles & Christopher Daniels retained their titles against Latin American Xchange (Homicide & Hotstuff Hernandez). The match was exceptionally bloody.

NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett def. Sting to retain his title after Christian Cage turned on Sting and hit him with Jarrett's guitar.

8-14-06 WWE RAW

Mick Foley congratulates Lita for winning the WWE World Women's Title. He's upset with himself for his actions last week. He'd been dealing from power until that point, but he folded to Ric Flair's wishes last week. He comforts himself in the knowledge that soon he will take part in the complete destruction of Ric Flair at the Summerslam PPV. He says he's only been busted open 4 times in his career, but reminds us that Flair is an easy bleeder. He tells Flair to get ready to wallow Sunday. He then invites Flair to ECW the next night. He says he'll be competing in an event never before seen. He is content tonight to watch Melina guide WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro against Flair.

Ric Flair def. WWE Intercontinental Champion Johnny Nitro (w/ Melina) by DQ when Mick Foley interferes. Foley & Flair rolled out of the ring. Foley whipped Flair into the stairs, then took the top section and tried to slam it down on Flair's head, but Flair moved. Foley forearmed Flair in the face, calling him a piece of crap. Then he leaves up the ramp with Melina & Nitro.

Jim Duggan & Eugene def. WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions The Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey) in a match that saw interference from fellow Spirit Squad member Johnny and the Highlanders.

8-15-06 ECW

Mick Foley comes to the ring. He says that he extended an invitation to Ric Flair to join him in ECW. Flair has declined that. Foley says that not due to a lack of guts on Flair's part. He's just resting up for the violent match at Summerslam. Foley wants to dispel the hype that he was nothing until he fell off the cage at Hell In the Cell in 1996. He was strapped to a gurney, rolled off, climbed the cage and was chokeslammed through. He was severely injured. But he never thought to call it quits. Not because anyone would have thought less of him, but because he would have thought less of himself. He says that Flair has never understood that Foley's whole career is about looking in the mirror and liking what he sees. He says Monday, he'll look in the mirror, be bloodied and broken, but he'll like what he sees. Flair can't win this war. "I Quit" isn't in his vocabulary. He then introduces Kelly Kelly & Melina and the 3 participate in a literal 3-Way Dance. Flair comes to the ring and attacks Foley. He tells Foley that he better learn how to quit.

8-17-06 NWA-TNA Impact

LAX attacks NWA World Tag Team Champions A. J. Styles & Christopher Daniels as the show opens. Daniels is bloodied. Rhino, Monty Brown, Brother Runt, Abyss & Samoa Joe all fill the ring. NWA World Champion Jeff Jarrett comes down to celebrate his win at the PPV. Lights go out. Sting's music plays. Sting clears the ring when the lights come back on. He takes the mic and says that Jarrett didn't beat him, Christian Cage beat him. He wants a rematch at the Bound For Glory PPV. He says he'll do anything for the rematch.

Daniels & Styles are shown bloodied backstage. Daniels says they beat LAX. If they wanted more, all they had to was ask. They'll even put the belts on the line. He throws out a challenge to Konnan who says he wants a Border Brawl. No DQ, No countout.

Chase Stevens def. Chris Harris (w/ Gail Kim), B.G. James and Frankie Kazarian in a Fatal 4-Way Match, earning The Naturals a shot at the NWA World Tag Team Titles.

Jeremy Borash is in the back with Jeff Jarrett and Jeremy asks the champion if he will answer Sting?s challenge. Jeff says that when he first heard Sting?s challenge, he did not think that he would accept it because there was nothing in it for him. There needs to be a win-win situation where both sides get something. Sting?s offer gives Jarrett nothing to gain. He says that if there is going to be a title match at Bound for Glory, it will be his title against Sting?s career. Jarrett says that he wants a contract in writing by next week. It will state that his TNA contract will be terminated if he loses and all of his merchandise must be burned. Jarrett wants to know what Sting?s answer will be as the show closes.
