Roddy Piper to appear on Cold Case

Cold Case?s Lilly had best get ready to rumble.

Professional wrestling legend "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, 55, will be appearing in an upcoming episode of the CBS crime drama, reveals series star Kathryn Morris. "We're doing a wrestling episode starring Rowdy Roddy Piper and he?s the best!,? says Kathryn. ?He's playing a wrestler named Sweet Sil. And he's been such a great sport. Do you know how much fun it is for me to smack down Rowdy in the interrogation room - which is my wrestling ring."

This is hardly Rowdy Roddy's first guest stint on a series, having previously appeared on Superboy, Silk Stalkings, Highlander, RoboCop, Walker Texas Ranger and just last year, he popped up in an episode of It?s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Also appearing on an upcoming Cold Case will be Doug Spinuzza, who has been recurring since 2005 as bomb expert Louie Amante. And this time he?ll be toting a bride. "He invites us all to his wedding," says Kathryn. "But we find out that one year before, his bride was left at the altar by a groom who is now dead!"

The episode?s biggest shocker concerns Kathryn?s wardrobe. Expect Lilly to ditch her pants to attend Louie?s wedding in a glamorous emerald gown. Says the tickled actress, "I get all dolled up!"
