MWA postpones January 8th event

Maximum Wrestling Alliance announced early Thursday morning that they have postponed their show that was set to take place on Friday, January 8th. MWA Director of Operations Mike Iles made the announcement via teleconference.
Iles said "Spavinaw Schools have not been in class since before their Winter Break due to the blizzard like conditions in Northeast Oklahoma. I live in Tulsa, and all the schools in this area announced early Wednesday that they would be closed Thursday and some announced they would be closed on Friday as well. The next batch of winter weather set to hit this part of the state sounds very severe. For the safety of our staff, wrestlers, and especially our fans, we have decided to postpone our January 8th event."
Iles concluded by saying that all that matches that were set for January 8th will be taking place on February 5th at MWA's next show, including the Lumberjack Match that was previously announced pitting MWA Heavyweight Champion Michael Barry against Jeff Starchild.
