NWA Universal announces participants for Candido Cup

NWA Universal has announced the eight participants for the upcoming Chris Candido Cup Tournament to be held Friday July 22nd in Tahlequah at the Community Building. The eight participants are Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens of the NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals, NWA Universal X Champion "Sweet Dreams" Gary Gram, Tyler Bateman, Scotty Charisma, Shadow, Brandon Groom, and 2002 Southern States Super 8 Champion "The Broken Arrow Bad Boy" Justin Lee. In non-tournament action, NWA-TNA World X Division Champion "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels will face off against an opponent not yet announced.
The entire event will be taped and sold on DVD and VHS with a bonus match that was taped at a event in September 2004 for NWA Universal (then known as NWA-Oklahoma) between Chris Candido and Thunderbolt.
