MWA To Run Back To Back Shows
Posted: Jun 25th 2009 By: CMBurnham
In September 2008, Maximum Wrestling Alliance (MWA) opened its doors to high acclaim. Each month in Spavinaw, they pack the house and bring the fans great wrestling action. They now take it one step further.
The weekend of July 10th & 11th, Maximum Wrestling Alliance will hold two shows, in two towns, on two successive nights. Each night will bring thrills for everyone.
On Friday, July 10th MWA Heavyweight Champion Blake Albright will defend the title against "Mr. Saturday Night" Michael Barry. Mr. Saturday Night is poised to take the title after becoming the #1 contender 2 months ago. Can the resilient Albright remain champion? Plus, in 6-Man tag team action, Sugar Shane Morbid & The Old School Express ("Big Country" Jake Boulder & "The Space Cowboy" Jason Jones) take on 3/4 of Big Stevie Caballero's Foreign Legion: El Famoso & MWA Tag Team Champions Texas, Inc. ("Terrific" Tim Rockwell & "The Texas Veteran" Bernard Funk).
Then the next night MWA will be at the Junior High School in Pryor for a benefit show for Trina Wheeler who is in need of a lung transplant. On that card you will see Texas Inc. defending the MWA Tag Team Titles against The Old School Express in MWA's 1st ever Steel Cage Match. The Old School Express captured the Southern Tag Team Titles for the 3rd time by defeating The Jet Setters (Darling Dustin Heritage & Handsome Jack Legacy) in Harrison, Arkansas on June 13th. Can they keep the momentum going and add more gold?
That's July 10th in Spavinaw and July 11th in Pryor. You won't want to miss either show. See you at ringside!!!
