A Battle to End All Battles

Since returning to ComPro in February, Dexter Hardaway has had his eyes set on one man, and one man only! That unfortunate guy is "Mr. Endurance" Shane Morbid. Dexter and Shane are no strangers. They have built up animosity dating back to their days in SRPW together. At the time, Shane was a member of P.I.N.K. Nation in the War Games Match that ultimately shut SRPW down, a match where Dexter was the last man standing on the losing side. Dexter gave his heart and soul to SRPW and was very upset to see it close. Could this be the reason why Dexter is still unhappy with Shane?

Right after Shane Morbid won the "I quit" match against Cast-Iron Cothern, is when ComPro fans first laid eyes on Talon, Dexter's wife and manager. She stood in the ring and circled Shane Morbid touching him rather seductively. Then at the blink of the eye, she slapped him across the face. Shane did not take kindly to this. He grabbed her by the hair and forced her into the corner. Before Shane could do anything though, the lights went out. Then, when the lights came back on, Dexter Hardaway stood in the ring. Before Shane could even realize what was going on, Dexter threw a giant fireball right at Shane's face. This caused severe burns on Shane's face and kept him from wrestling for a couple of weeks.

Ever since then, the tension between these two men has been building. They have been coming out during each other's matches and distracting each other causing them to pick up the loss. Talon has even come as far as getting in the ring to physically strike Morbid. However that did not go as she had planned, because Shane "smoked her lips" as well.

On March 17, as Shane was leaving the TAP show in Muskogee; he was the victim of a hit and run in the Youth Central parking lot. Shane was too beat up from that attack to compete the next night at ComPro. No one knew who had done it, but it was soon to be revealed.

This past Saturday night at the ComPro show, Dexter came out to the ring dressed in a suit and tie. Talon did not accompany him to the ring. Dexter motioned to ComPro Ring announcer Jamie to give him the mic. Jamie refused and continued to announce his opponent, the Amazing Bolo. Dexter told her that he was not dressed for a match, but she pointed that it was in her little black and white book. Amazing Bolo came out to the ring full of energy and was ready to wrestle. Too bad the same could not be said about Dexter. They had not been wrestling for more then 2 minutes when Dexter reached for a weapon and hit Amazing Bolo with it. The bell was rung and Amazing picked up the win with the DQ. Dexter could care less; he quickly grabbed the mic from the announcing table.

Dexter then announced that it was him that ran down Shane in Muskogee. He told the fans that he was better then Shane Morbid and he was going to prove it. Dexter said he wanted to end Shane's career. He wanted one battle to end all battles. He challenged Shane to a match at the next Night of Champions on May 9th. He said it was not going to be a regular wrestling match; that it was going to be brutal. The ComPro fans started chanting, "I QUIT, I QUIT, I QUIT!" Dexter yelled at them to shut up and it was not going to be an "I quit" match. He said "Next week, Shane. I want an answer. Are you man enough to accept my challenge?"

So what will happen this week at Compound? Will Shane accept Dexter's challenge? Will Mike 2 make the match for Night of Champions on May 9th? What kind of match will it be? All these questions will be answered this week at Compound Pro Wrestling. Stay tuned.
