JR's Blog: New Q&A's Updated for your enjoyment but read with caution.....Some of this stuff is Whacked!
Posted: Mar 7th 2009 By: mikeiles
We have updated the latest batch of your questions and addressed your comments on our Q&A section of this very website. Some are from insane people or the sick and shut in. Please read the balance of this blog with care and do not attempt to operate heavy machinery when finished.
A script of these Q&A's may have been leaked on the internet but trust me that the real questions and answers can be found only here in this history making addition of our BBQ website designed and funded to sell BBQ oriented products and talk a little wrestling, sports, food, and more.
Hulk Hogan is highly unlikely to not to be able to wrestle in a match he was never scheduled to wrestle in the first place as he has had back surgery. Hulk's injuries are a likely result of having to carry the weight of his soon to be ex-wife's world on his broad shoulders. If you had Hogan vs. Jericho in the office pool....you (likely) lose.
Did you know? That J.R's Blog on the vaunted WWE Universe is read by more fans than any other WWE blog. If I had my own reality show or dressed in a bikini with tiny BBQ bottles on them, I might be able to get the numbers up for my Smackdown blog.
Would the WWE sign Terrell Owens and bring him to Wrestlemania to fight Chris Jericho? Owens is out of work or at least he is until next Thursday says his "I should've been a rasslin' manager" Drew Rosenhaus who is the controversial image of Paul E. Dangerously in the sports agent world. We know that T.O. can cry on cue and that he looks good in tight britches.
Want to take on a fun project. Look at all the wrestling websites and see how many are speculating who will be drafted on April 3 in Atlanta based on their "inside" knowledge. Read the info carefully and then laugh out loud at the hyperbole because no one knows who's going where with absolute certainty.
Wrestlemania is every one in WWE's only and highest priority right now. BTW I think this might be one helluva show as it seems to be coming together well and you have men in main events who will all want to truly steal the show and not just show up for the pay day, not that any one has ever done that at Wrestlemania.
Separated at birth...poker pro and former MIT grad Andy Bloch and WWE vet Steve "Brooklyn Brawler" Lombardi.
TMZ India reportedly says that the Great Khali is the Brad Pitt of Mumbai and that Khali's sidekick Ranjin Singh's sideburns are popular with both men and women when given as lovely parting gifts.
Jerry Lawler is reportedly having a royal thong being made for his upcoming cruise with his fans at the end of July. Ol J.R. has been invited but I need to see some cash money and some Dramamine. Plus, it has to be in my contract that I don't have to see King wearing is Royal Speedo.
My pal, ESPN's Brad Nessler and I went out tonight for some J.R.'s Family BBQ in Norman and then had a social or two at my favorite watering hole, Louie's Westside, before yours truly took ESPN's greatest play by play broadcaster back to his placial digs. Ness is doing the play by play Saturday of ABC's College Basketball game of the week between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. This is the hoops version of Wahoo McDaniel and Cowboy Bill Watts vs. The Brisco Brothers. This will be a physical game with lots of fouls and ample and deserved taunting of the officials. If you see a rather robust man sitting on the front row across from the OU bench wearing a black, cowboy hat it might be the former voice of Monday Night Raw.
This just in....the ladies of Friday Night Smackdown do not particularly like Michelle McCool not to mention that it's none of my business.
I think that Carlito and Primo should wrestle the duo of Miz and Morrison who are likely on The Warriors "bad list" after Friday night's presentation of the "Dirt Sheet" and consolidate the two sets of tag titles.
Did you know that the grand and glorious 500th episode of Friday Night Smackdown will be taped in Corpus Christi in less than two weeks? This fall I am told that a high and mighty 10 years of Smackdown will be promoted aggressively throughout the WWE and will provide many memorable moments such as Tazz dancing and Michael Cole saying "Oh, My." I will likely just wear my black hat and try to eat hot soup with my two bouts of Bells palsy which is always a hoot. Or to whistle or simply walk around the arena wearing a sandwich board that says, "J.R. has lost his smile."
I am going to miss my fellow Okie Paul Harvey's radio broadcasts as he has been on radio ever since I can remember. I know my grandparents would stop what they were doing around lunch time to listen to the now deceased Mr. Harvey's insightful and unique commentary. If this wrestling thing doesn't work out for me after 34 years, then perhaps I might try such a vocation.
"And now for the rest of the story for all you government mules in radio-land."
If I have to , and don't think that I won't do it, i I will call in my high powered agent to address all these cute "colon" jokes being bantered about on Smackdown. Some of us are colon conscious and for good reason. Can you say Dr. Heiney?
Q&A update....I can't help any one get hired in WWE, I don't have a "favorite match ever" at this time and if I had one I've changed my mind on it, I can't get any creepy kids any backstage passes that have access to the locker rooms, I can't arrange a "private" meet and greet with a young man and Festus for Goodness Sakes....I don't have the hand that Mae Young once gave birth to in MSG and, no, it wouldn't be on display at any future J.R.'s BBQ's...it is highly unlikely that JR'S Family BBQ will ever go vegan....yes, Randy Savage is a wonderful man, a talented human being, a good son and brother and, no, I don't know why or if Macho Man will ever be in the WWE HOF....Bruno Sammartino isn't bitter and is living a blessed life in lovely Pittsburgh the hometown of my bride and her Steelers....I like the War Games and would love to see it used on a WWE PPV but it is likely too close to Hell in a Cell and the Elimination Chamber to ever be brought out of moth balls and believe me these moths have some balls....and, no, I never write these blogs nude. Those are some of the emails that did not make the cut this time. If this was one of yours then I guess I sorta answered it.
Now, please go to our store and at least "think" about buying something. Thank you and good night.
Boomer Sooner!
