Don't Mess With Texas

Stevie Caballero's firm grip on the ComPro Title, combined with the return of Texas, Inc. to the federation, puts him in a postition of strength. He hasn't been in this position in ComPro for over a year. With talent like Draven Cross, Tim Rockwell and Bernard Funk willing to do his bidding, Stevie feels no fear while walking around the ringside area. The question is, how long will this feeling of confidence last?

Stevie was very vocal about the absence of his Heavyweight Champion on the flyer for this past Saturday's ComPro event. He was no impressed with either Brandon Groom or ComPro Oklahoma X Division Champion Jake McCoy and made that known. After annihilating Big Dogg in the opening match, Stevie exited. But it wouldn't be the last that the crowd saw of him.

Three matches later, Stevie returned with Texas, Inc. in tow. He told the crowd that he had arranged a match for Rockwell & Funk against a team he saw last week. A team that impressed him as up and coming. That team turned out to be The Amazing Bolo & Das Karnage, far from the outstanding team that Stevie made them out to be. Bolo & Karnage had no real communication and Bolo's manager, Sensei Bolo, could barely be bothered to be at ringside, as he had been preoccupied with the disappearance of The Greatest Bolo a couple of weeks ago. Amazing Bolo's & Das Karnage's complete uncooperation led to their swift defeat, but that wasn't enough for them as both men ended up on the receiving end of spike piledrivers from the former Triple Crown Tag Team Champions.

Fans believed that was the end, but they were sorely mistaken. The main event featured Jake McCoy defending his title against Brandon Groom. And much as he'd opened the show, Stevie decided to close the show as well. At the height of the match, Stevie, Draven & Rockwell all came out and attacked the two combatants. It was a completely unprovoked attack and after making their message, Stevie and his associates were on the way back to the dressing area when ComPro owner Mike Two made his way out. After assessing the situation, he decided that Draven needed to face someone in a fair fight. So at Night of Champions on March 14, Draven would be defending his ComPro Title against Brandon Groom.

Before Draven can have that match, he will be involved in a Champion-vs-Champion match against Jake McCoy. Although this will be a non-title match, Draven can't afford to take the situation lightly. An injury would certainly put his title in jeapordy and Stevie has to make sure that the title stays in his possession for a long time.

In addition to the issues on his mind at ComPro, Stevie & Texas, Inc. are facing another challenge Friday as Rockwell & Funk face The Old School Express in a return match for MWA. Last time Texas, Inc. were victorious and Caballero hopes to repeat that accomplishment this month.

Caballero has also informed Oklafan that he might have a surprise acquisition to debut at the MWA event in 3 days.
