Beau Dalton Captures all the Gold
Posted: Jun 18th 2006 By: CMBurnham
SRPW Tag Team Champion Beau Dalton won the SRPW X Division Title on June 16, 2006, becoming the first person to hold every active title in SRPW.
Beau, along with the rest of the newly-named faction P. I. N. K. (Physically Intense, Naturally Kool) Nation came to the ring Friday night and Ray Martinez announced that it had been 30 days since the X Division Title had been defended. So he put it at stake in a match between Beau Dalton and Cpl. James Warbois. With the rest of P. I. N. K. Nation at ringside, this turned into a 5-on-1 situation for the corporal, whose tag team partner Luc Lapoint was missing in action this night. Beau scored the win, winning the only title in SRPW that he had never held.
After the match, Beau took the microphone and declared that the only person who could properly represent the "Mex Division" (as Ray Martinez refers to it) was Ray. He then gave the title back to Ray, making him a 2-time champion.
Beau's first title in SRPW was the Heavyweight Championship, which he won on March 14, 2003, defeating Brandon Groom for the vacant title. He would be stripped of it on September 27 of the same year when he left SRPW. When he returned to SRPW in 2004, he began to carve a niche for himself in the Hardcore Division, winning the Hardcore Title a record 6 times. He would eventually retire that title, proclaiming himself the "King of Hardcore" after defeating Luc Lapointe & Timmy J in a Triple Threat/King of Hardcore Match. Beau is the only man to hold the SRPW Women's Title, defeating fellow P.I.N.K. Nation member Lily McKenzie for that in Wagoner, but losing it back to her the same night.
Most recently, Beau has been dominating the tag team divisions of federations he's been working for. He's a 3-time SRPW Tag Team Champion, currently holding those titles since March 17 of this year. He's also made it clear that he's interested in the AACW Tag Team Titles, held by Trailer Park Trash. Teaming with his "insurance policy", Overdose, he came up short in his attempt to take those belts earlier this month in Oklahoma City.
