Jake "The Snake" Roberts incident

I have been getting a lot of questions and statements about what happened over the weekend with Jake The Snake Roberts...As many of you know I was married to Jake's younger brother , Mike, aka Sam Houston. So we are family even though Sam and I are divorced, Jake is the uncle of my two daughters...Jake and I started in World Class the same day, in fact Jake held the dooropen for me when we went to the Friday morning promo tapings and we were stuck together the whole time I worked the World Class Territory...I have seen Jake really messed up and I mean really messed up...infact the last time we hung out he smoked crack in front of me...that is something he had always fabed from me until then...I felt so bad just sitting there but I love Jake and maybe I was being very selfish cause I just wanted some time with him cause in my heart I knew I would probably never see him again...

Jake is an exceptional talent as many of you know...just he has so many demons and he seeks any way he can to silence their torment...

I got a lot of heat from his ass. Shannon when he went into rehab earlier this year and I asked everyone for their love and supoort to help get Jake through rehab. OMG you would not believe the jealous rants that she sent my way...

my only reason for letting people know that he had gone into rehab was that he needed the positive support of the hundreds upon thousands of true Jake The Snake fans...I don't think anyone was surprised that jake had gone into rehab...in fact I think everyone was relieved that maybe Jake was finally headed in the right direction...we all hoped but very few of us who really knew Jake thought he could end the habbits he had had for decades...plus it was at a show in Texas where he finally "hit bottm"..he got holed up in the hotel and told the promoter he wanted drugs or he wouldn't make his wrestling appearance...I had always heard he had made these demands but blew them off... I knew jake...Jake would demand more money not drugs cause he knew he would get shit instead of high and Jake wanted to get it himself since he knew what he wanted...and yes, I believe the source of the Texas story that said this...even the fact that the promoter told Jake that if he didn't show up he was sending the sheriff to arrest him...jake hightailed it out of town through the aid of a close family member...

I am very familiar with addictions..have a few of them myself...my Dad had more than 35 years of sobriety when he passed away in 2002...he was very proud of that and helped so many people find our higher power and ask for help through the 12 step program...when Sam and I broke up it was my Dad who got me in an AlAnon program to protect my sanity...I didn't think I needed it at the time but as we all know parents know their kids the best and my Dad hit this one on the head...

the following are links to the video from this past weekend and the blog from the wrestler who worked against Jake along with the statement from Jakes ass.Shannon...I have to admit that Shannon came up with a good story to cover for Jake...BUT as everyone knows Jake has pulled some horrible ribs on people...and he would NEVER and I mean NEVER accept an opened drink from anyone...cause you never know what they have done with it from spit to piss to stirring it with their penis to even drugging him,,, and if he is sober like he said then he really wouldn't accept a "cold drink" just for the sake that why tempt fate and his new found sobriety...I believe the blog of the guy that was there...he seems to be intelligent from the way he wrote his blog and the video speaks for itself...

all I can say is jake needs our prayers and support more than ever...

I only pray he doesn't kill anyone else but himself...and Shannon you are an enabler to the highest degree..you may think you are helping Jake but you are the one killing him...
