Welcome to the first edition of the Oklahoma Scoop. The purpose of this column is to highlight news from around the country about wrestlers that have an Oklahoma past. This becomes your one-stop shop for all Oklahoma news past and present.

Let's get right to it...

- WWE had added Beth Phoenix to the Raw Superstars page on their web site.

- Dave Meltzer reports that WWE will hire a few new agents for the ECW brand. Tim Horner, 47, has been given a try out.

- Despite his 5/9 knee surgery, Jim Cornette still is expected to be introduced as TNA's new directory of authority at the 6/18 Slammiversay PPV.

- If Dusty Rhodes was more open to travel, "The Dream" would also be a top contender for OVW's head booker position. He lives in Marietta, GA, so one would wonder if he might be more available to Deep South, which is also looking for a booker.

- KFOR-TV (Channel 4) in Oklahoma City is advertising that Wednesday Night (5/24), they'll have an interview with Steve "Dr. Death" Williams and his struggles with Cancer on the 10:00 pm news broadcast.
