Ted DiBiase "Live Audio Wrestling" interview recap

Ted DiBiase was interviewed by Live Audio Wrestling to promote his new autobiography. Here are the highlights:

- DiBiase said he did the second autobiography since the first focused on his Spiritual Journey. He said his hardcore wrestling fans wanted more on his wrestling career.

- DiBiase said he was approached by WWE to do the second book, and was told that his action figure is among the best selling legends figures.

- DiBiase said he didn't want to do a tell all book. He said he admits his infidelity, but if his wife didn't want to know all the dirty details, than there was no reason to publish them.

- He said he was surprised to be given a character (The Million Dollar Man) that was a wrestling version of Vince McMahon. DiBiase said he was given the character because they liked his talking skills, and his ability to be a good heel.

- DiBiase said the lifestyle of wrestling has been the downfall of many wrestlers, not the wrestling itself.

- He said its a lie that wrestlers are pressured into doing steroids. He said every man has to make choices.

- DiBiase said The Ultimate Warrior only had a body, and wouldn't have made it in the business without it. On the other hand, DiBiase said that he could tell a story on the mic.

- He said wrestling is like any other sport, an individual has to make the right decisions. DiBiase said guys put pressure on themselves all the time.

- DiBiase said "groupies" aren't as prevalent today as they were in his active career.
