NEWS
Former Oklahoma wrestler Zane Morris has released a book entitled "God Can't Give You What You Don't Already Have - A New Approach To Getting What You Want" which is available through Amazon by clicking here. Morris has been living in Colorado Springs, CO working as a advertising artist since retiring from the squared circle.

WWE recently announced changes in their TV tapings. ECW will no longer be live on Tuesdays, it will be taped on Mondays before RAW goes live. This means the "WWE RAW" show in Oklahoma City on June 30th will have both the ECW taping and the live "RAW", while the taping in Tulsa will only have "Smackdown".

WWE has been awarded the first ever Corporate Patriot Award at the annual GI Film Festival in Washington DC, for their work and support towards the US military and the production of the Tribute to the Troops holiday show. WWE Hall of Famer and former sixteen time world champion Ric Flair was present at the ceremony and accepted the award on behalf of the WWE. Several celebrities attended the Festival as well as the Army Chief of Staff General George Casey.

Ric Flair will be doing a "Flair's Farewell To The Fans" tour, a series of appearances that will allow Ric to thank his fans for the support that they showed him during his career. The tour begins with the NWA All-Star Wrestling event in Oakwood, VA on June 28th.

Ric Flair attended the New Orleans Hornets vs. San Antonio Spurs game 7 of the Western Conference semi-finals series in New Orleans. When the cameras showed the celebrities in the crowd, Flair was shown sitting behind the Spurs bench and the caption read "Pro Wrestler".

Only one spot is edited out of Ric Flair's Hall of Fame speech on the Wrestlemania 24 DVD and that is where he mentioned Chris Benoit.

Suspended WWE Smackdown and ECW head writer Michael Hayes apparently made a remark about Democratic Presidental hopeful Barack Obama. "How can we have a President that can't read the constitution?" said Hayes, according to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. "If that boy gets elected, I'm moving to Canada," Hayes apparently said.

Jim Ross wrote on his web site about the death of Jack Mildren, the former University of Oklahoma quarterback and later Lt. Governor. Ross said he was the best quarterback in school history. Mildren, 58, died from a long battle with cancer and was working his radio sports talk job as late as two days before his death.

Jakks Pacific's Classic Superstars 19 includes Mankind in a LJN style chaser, Kevin Sullivan, Ivan Koloff, Gene Okerlund, Adam Bomb, Doink the Clown, The Rock, Cactus Jack, and Eddie Guerrero. You can see pictures of the figures by clicking here.

Since the inception of the WWE's Wellness Policy, 30+ superstars have been suspended. Here is a list of the names that are publicly known to have been suspended for these violations: Randy Orton, Joey Mercury, Rene Dupree, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Kid Kash, Ryan Reeves, Ryan O'Reilly, Balls Mahoney, Drew Hankinson (AKA Festus), Andrew Martin (AKA Test), Chris Kay (referee), Jeff Hardy, Chavo Guerrero Jr., Chris Masters, Edge, Funaki, Gregory Helms, Booker T, Charlie Haas, Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, William Regal, John Morrison, Gene Snitsky, Harry Smith (AKA D. H. Smith), Derrick Neikirk, Neil Bzibziak (AKA Chet the Jet), and Afa Jr. who attempted to cheat on a drug test by using a realistic prosthetic penis filled with another wrestler's urine.

Here is this Wednesday's lineup for MSG Network's "WWE at The Garden":

8:00-9:00 (Eastern)
From June 25, 1988: Jim Duggan vs. One Man Gang, Ultimate Warrior vs. Bobby Heenan, and WWE World Champion Randy Savage vs. Ted DiBiase in a Steel Cage Match

9:00-10:00 (Eastern)
From November 24, 1986: Billy Jack Haynes vs. Bob Orton, George Steele vs. Kamala, and Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper vs. Harley Race & Paul Orndorff

On a side note, the MSG website has The Islanders (Haku & Tama) vs. The Dream Team (Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake) on the line up for episode two but the cable preview doesn't. So it may be on the show but it may not be.

Toywiz.com has an exclusive Big Show/Andre the Giant action figure two pack up for pre-order.

Memphis Wrestling looks to be returning. At the end of Saturday night's TV show, Corey Maclin and Jerry Lawler were on saying this would be the last show airing old tapes from the Ch. 30 studio. Lawler said Memphis Wrestling would be getting a new home. He didn't say what station but rumor has it Ch. 50, WPXX. He also said the show may move back to the traditional 11am Saturday time slot and they talked about shows coming up.

TNA has had talks with The Ultimate Warrior, but they have not reached a deal. Bernie J. Gernay, president of PSI Marketing Group and agent for The Ultimate Warrior commented on the Warrior to TNA rumors: "Warrior is completely focused on "The Ultimate Return" on June 25th in Barcelona. The NWE has provided us an incredible opportunity on our own terms and we are preparing to bring the fans much more than they are expecting. With numerous rumors being reported by wrestling "insiders".... we have not discussed any potential deals with other wrestling federations nor have I made mention of any money specifics with TNA, WWE or otherwise. The wrestling industry has long been on the record for using Ultimate Warrior's name, likeliness, and persona to bring great attention to their company with an agenda only suiting themselves".

KayfabeCommentaries.com will soon release a shoot interview with Jamie Dundee, son of Bill Dundee.
