5-5 WWE RAW

WWE World Women's Champion Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix in a Lumberjack Match

Carlito came out to host the Carlito's Cabana segment. He recapped the incident between Roddy Piper and Santino Marella and said it wasn't cool. He brought out Piper to clear the air. Carlito said he knew how annoying Marella could be, but Piper took it too far. Piper called Carlito "Buckwheat" and said he'd taken it too far his whole life. A normal guy might have turned the other cheek or insulted them both. Not Piper. He beat Mr. T, Hulk Hogan and cancer. He's sorry he doesn't have time to play nice with "Super Mario Brother" and apologised for not being Dr. Phil. He did it his way with a slap. Carlito said Marella is a future tag team champion and Piper was lucky Carlito wasn't there or he would have slapped Piper back. Piper said Carlito was lucky he didn't bring a sea gull to beat him up and make a nest in his hairdo. Santino Marella then arrived. He told Carlito he didn't have to lay a hand on Piper. He'd take care of it. Marella said it took Piper 8 years to become Intercontinental champion, but Marella did it in his 1st match in the WWE. Soon, he'd be a World Tag Team Champion with Carlito. Marella said the slap was embarassing. Piper said Marella needed a designated driver. Carlito & Marella started to back Piper into the corner when WWE RAW World Tag Team Champion Cody Rhodes arrived. He said that wasn't the way to treat a legend. They should back up so no one gets hurt. Carlito said Hardcore Holly wasn't there, so Rhodes really didn't want any of this. Rhodes said he knew 2 guys who were dying to meet Piper. Cryme Tyme came out and Santino & Carlito ran away. JTG said it was just like 2 chumps to run before a fight. Tonight, it wasn't about the "Money, Money, Yeah, Yeah", it was about "Rowdy, Rowdy."

5-8 TNA iMPACT

Jim Cornette was in the ring. He said he announced names for the Egotistical 8, but there have been problems in the past week. He brought the 8 out to the ring. He said he thought he made himself clear last week. They had all been ringing his phone off the hook asking who their partner was, except Sting. He decided 2 of the teams would be drawn tonight. The other 2 would be drawn at the Sacrifice PPV. He does this as a favour. Cornette drew Sting's name out of a bowl and called Sting to the ring to draw his partner. Sting drew James Storm. Storm entered the ring. He told Sting he was not his friend or his buddy. He didn't want to be Sting's tag team partner. Storm wasn't a Sting fan growing up. He said his mom didn't let him play with make-up. Sting punched Storm and both men brawled until they were seperated. Cornette said the teams drawn tonight would face each other in a 1-on-1 match and made Sting vs. Storm NO DQ.

Jeremy Borash was backstage with Sting. He said this is a 3-ring circus, just like he liked it. He and James Storm would beat each other up so that Sunday, together, they would become TNA World Tag Team Champions.

Jim Cornette had the TNA Knockouts in his office. He said ever since the announcement of the Makeover Battle Royal, all of them had been whining and griping. Cornette isn't mean or a bad person. He wanted them to look at him like a father figure. He announced that there would be an immunity match on the show. Whoever won that match woudln't get their head shaved. For the match tonight, he'd put a pole in the corner because he'd knew lots of the Knockouts had experience hanging off a pole. On the pole would be sheers. Whoever got the sheers would be immune from having their head shaved. If they lost, the next runner-up would get her head shaved. He told them to go out and get him some ratings.

Sting def. James Storm in a NO DQ match.

Jim Cornette was back in the ring to draw the 2nd team pairings. He brought out the remaining 6 wrestlers and drew Matt Morgan's name. Morgan came into the ring where he drew Kip James. James said he was Matt Morgan's daddy. He'll tell him what to do, when to do it and Morgan would listen. Morgan nodded his head in agreement and said he had 2 words for James: Suck It! Both men lay into each other. Security was called to seperate them. Cornette said to ring the bell and start the match.

5-12 WWE RAW

Roddy Piper came out to observe the WWE RAW World Tag Team Title match between Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes and Santino Marella & Carlito

WWE World Women's Champion Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix & Melina when Phoenix walked out on Melina.

Beth Phoenix came up to Melina & Jilllian Hall. Melina asked Phoenix why she walked off in their match. Phoenix said it was payback for Melina costing her the Women's Title last week. Melina said that was an accident. Phoenix said she didn't believe that because she knew Melina could beat Mickie James much more easily than her. Melina challenged this assertion. Phoenix physically picked Melina up and slammed her into the lockers, then beat on her until referees came to seperate them.

5-15 TNA iMPACT

Jeremy Borash was backstage with LAX. Homicide said it had been a year since they held the belts and few believed they could do it. He credited Hector Guerrero. Hector said they came through and there would be a revolution. Now, the Latino nation must come and support them.

TNA World Tag Team Champions The Latin American Xchange (w/ Hector Guerrero & Salinas) def. The Motor City Machine Guns

Mike Tenay interviewed Sting. They talked about Rick Bassman coming to Sting's gym to recruit him. He went through the camp with Jim Hellwig aka The Ultimate Warrior, then sent out resumes everywhere. The only promoter to call was Jerry Jarrett. He only wanted 2 of the 4 guys Bassman had. It was a pretty tense year with the Warrior. He talked about the history of the Blade Runners and said they parted ways, but it wasn't a friendly parting.

During the 6-man main event, Brother Ray went to the Spanish announce table and shoved Hector Guerrero, engaging in a brief series of words. When the match was over, both members of Team 3-D attacked Hector Guerrero at the table, then dragged him to the back while Booker T held the others off with a chair. When Team 3-D was finally driven off, Guerrero was a bloody mess.

5-19 WWE RAW

Beth Phoenix def. Maria. Melina was doing commentary during the match and after it was over, she attacked Beth Phoenix from behind. They briefly carried the fight out to the rampway, where Phoenix laid Melina out and walked away.

A recap of Roddy Piper's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live was shown.

A segment about the WWE winning the G. I. Film Fest award was shown. Ric Flair accepted the corporate patriot award on the company's behalf. He said he was honoured that he was chosen and proud to celebrate the troops overseas.

Roddy Piper came out to the ring to ruin Santino Marella's impersonation of him. Marella had purchased a cake that said "I'm sorry" and invited cousin Sal from Jimmy Kimmel Live on the show. Piper came up behind Marella and shoved his head into the cake. Marella challenged cousin Sal to a match and Piper accepted.

5-22 TNA iMPACT

A. J. Styles was backstage being interviewed. He said Tomko wasn't happy about Styles picking another partner and Kurt Angle was upset about Karen. A. J. said he and Karen were just friends. He needed another partner for the tag team tournament. Tomko walked up. A. J. asked where he'd been. Tomko said he'd been thinking about how A. J. cost him the TNA World Tag Team Titles and shoved A. J. A. J. said he was sick of everyone telling him what to do. Tomko said he can respect A. J. for wanting to be his own man because he wanted that once too, but A. J. would have to be his own man on his own.

Jeremy Borash continued his interview with Sting. He talked about Jeff Jarrett's personal issues. Sting said he'd had little contact with Jarrett, but that he was missed. He wouldn't want anyone to go through what he'd gone through. There was lots of weight on his shoulders. Borash asked for early memories of Jarrett. Sting said he was a little blonde kid running around who hadn't seen anything like The Blade Runners.

Booker T def. A. J. Styles to qualify for the King of the Mountain Match, due in part to interference from Tomko. Tomko and A. J. went face-to-face with A. J. shoving Tomko. Referees came out to seperate them as they show went to commercial.

When TNA returned from break, A. J. & Tomko were going at it. Don West said they had to be seperated 3 times during the break. Team 3-D hit the ring. A. J. held his own for a while, but the numbers were too great. Tomko used a chain on A. J. Booker T waylaid Earl Hebner. A. Jj. was a bloody mess. Booker superkicked A. J. All delivered more punishment then Karen Angle came out. She covered A. J. protectively. Brother Ray picked her up off him, but Karen slapped him. Brother Ray ordered her out of the ring, calling her a "stupid woman" and a "bitch". The attack resumed on A. J. Karen brought Kurt Angle out. He brought a chair with him. Angle chased the others out of the ring while Karen again covered A. J. Brother Ray pointed out Karen's action to Kurt. Kurt was upset at what he saw. He picked up Karen to argue with her, then slammed A. J. in the head with the chair. Kurt then told Kane that this was her fault because she betrayed him.
