UWF06 Under New Ownership!
Posted: Apr 24th 2008 By: CMBurnham
OK folks, this is Bobby B. Brave and although this isn't my monthly column you all have come to know, "The Armbar Press", I had to write this column because I simply could not contain my excitment. It's official, UWF06 is no more! Due to high number of companies across the U.S. using these same initials, we've decided to change the name as the company changed ownership. The new owner is Thomas Hood with other investors as minority owners. The new name is 3DW "3rd Degree Wrestling" After researching the name along with other names, we found no active company with this name so we went to OKC's State Capital Bldg. and registered the name along with 3CE "3 Count Entertainment" as our parent company. Originally it was to be 3CW "3 Count Wrestling" but there's another 3CW in England and a wrestling newsletter with those same initials. The company gave Al Farat the honor to find a name and design the logo for the company and this is what he came up with, please update.
Nothing else changes in terms of title belts' names, SLAM-U school and show dates, if anything we've incresed the number of shows. We have adopted new names for our arena and screen being the "3DW SmashGarden" and the "3D Screen" The new dvd producing equipment, guardrails, company shirts, ref shirts, set, signs, business cards and letterheads are all in. New lights, ramp, cage and 20x20 ring are all on the way. A more graphic intense website coming in the end of May or beginnings of June.
For now continue to log on to www.officialuwf.com until the new website is up and thank you for you're continued support. Remember to support www.oklafan.com so for now this is Triple B saying...see ya ringside!
