COMPOUND Pro Wrestling Will Hold An X Division Tournament This Weekend To Determine A New #1 Contender

COMPOUND Pro Wrestling? will present two live events this weekend: one on Friday, April 25, and one on Saturday, April 26. Fans of the ?X Division? style of wrestling will want to make sure to attend both nights to see the second ever COMPOUND X Division 8 Man Tournament. The first such event was held on November 17, 2007 to determine a new X Division champion after Justin Lee forfeited the belt due to injury.

This years COMPOUND X Division 8 Man Tournament will determine a number one contender to the championship currently held by TAP Oklahoma Heritage Champion ?Terrific? Tim Rockwell. The list of tournament entrants includes former X Division champions Justin Lee, Shane Morbid, and Cold Blooded Chris. The tournament will also feature international stars such as the Mexican sensation El Super Colibri, and the current ComPro Tag Team Champions the Canadian Luchadore and TAP Champion The Canadian Red Devil. The final two entrants are the constantly smooth Rico Suave and the always dangerous Cast Iron Cothern. The bracketing for this tournament will be released later this week.

Friday night?s event will feature the opening round of the tournament and is part of a fundraiser for Thomas A. Edison preparatory school in Tulsa. Tickets to this event will be $10 at the door the night of the show. The semi-finals and finals will be held on COMPOUND Pro Wrestling?s regular Saturday night show. Tickets to this event will be $5 for general admission seating.
