The Armbar Press
Posted: Apr 17th 2008 By: CMBurnham
Hello wrestling fans! Bobby B. Brave is back with another edition of the "Armbar Press!" In this my monthly column I'll share with you some exciting UWF06 news as this company is now under new ownership. Wait a minute, new ownership? That's right, the company has been sold and new and exciting things are to come as the company continues to grow in leaps and bounds. I'll start by saying that other companies have started the talent exchanging process. Jimmy De La Rosa's TWF (Texas Wrestling Federation) from San Antonio had a show this past friday in Flippin, AR where several UWF06 stars were present and they have agreed to showcase/contract some more of our talent to be on their May 3rd show as well as other shows throughout the Austin/San Antonio area. Some other UWF06 stars were on Bill Ash's "Mid-South" show in Ft. Smith, AR on Saturday night as well. Also Don DiBiase's UWF in New Orleans has contacted us about our talent for some of their dates down in the bayou. Check 'em all out at www.traditionalwrestling.com , www.ultimatewrestlingfederation.com and www.texaswrestlingfederation.com and I'll have some more info on the CT/Mass northeast franchise I mentioned before on my next issue. This company is already going through some new changes with color, logo and name changes and a new cage being built. Also the "UWF06 Arena" or "SmashGarden" as it is now known has a new huge screen called the "3D-Screen" and it is HUGE! A full 8 ft. x 8 ft. screen allowing for vignettes to be shown. A new tunnel with ramp, announcer's station, wow and that's just the beggining! Now about the shows...Lawton and Apache, OK will surely be rocked to it's very foundations when we visit there in the upcoming weeks as we have very exciting cards lined up for both venues. Oklafan's very own C. M. Burnham will be ringside calling the matches alongside UWF's Joshua Smith on some of these shows making for a very interesting situation as Prince Al Farat has repeatedly been causing trouble with Joshua and has on various occasions singled out CM on his promos implying that no one including CM has the guts to stop him from causing havoc in the state of Oklahoma. Well folks this should be interesting. More info on those cards on future columns. Stand by Gainesville, Texas cause the legacy continues as Lacey Von Erich, daughter of "The Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich will be at hand. Texas fans will be able to see this young lady in action as she represents what truly is THE first family of wrestling as does battle in the "Lone Star State." UWF06 stars are being featured on various promotions across the U.S. so be sure to follow these happenings by logging on to www.officialuwf.com for more info and remember to check out the UWF's wrestling school. A more graphic intense UWF06 website coming soon and remember to support www.oklafan.com for all the best Oklahoma wrestling news! If I forgot to mention something big or some new and exciting big news comes in I'll just have to write a last minute condensed column but for now this is "Triple B" saying...See ya ringside!
