Renegade looking for Universal glory

NWA Universal is pleased to announce the newest addition to the roster. Oklahoma wrestling legend Renegade has joined the NWA Universal roster full time after wrestling in a Four Corners, Four Poles, Four Weapons Match in Ponca City, OK on 4/16/05. Oklahoma X Champion Dexter Hardaway was a no show for the match and was subsequently stripped of the title by NWA Universal Commissioner Mike Iles. Commissioner Iles said that the winner of the match would be the new Oklahoma X Champion. He also said that they promised the fans 4 participants in the match and then introduced Renegade as the 4th participant. Renegade is a former Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight, and Tag Team Champion in several organizations all around the state.

NWA Universal Commissioner Mike Iles said "Renegade and I had our differences in the past in a previous organization. We never have seen eye to eye. But I had the chance to bring in a wrestling legend like Renegade. There was no way I was going to let the chance pass me by. I would never deny the fans of NWA Universal of that." He added, "I spoke with Renegade before I went out and introduced him. We have come to an agreement and we have buried the hatchet. He also knows that I am in charge and will not hesitate to suspend him."

With the impending Tag Team Title Tournament set for June, Renegade is more than likely searching for a tag team partner. He held the Tag Team Titles in the last organization he was a part of and would like to make a mark in his newest organization as well.
