Dynasty Members Out of Control!!

Some say "With great power comes great responsibility." Others say " Absolute power corrupts absolutely". Members of the UWF06 faction The Dynasty would seem to fall into that latter category. After all, it's good to be "The Boss" and thanks to their association with Jerry Bostic, fellow Dynasty members Dane Griffin, UWF06 Femme Fatale Champion Frankie Dee and newest member MSWA Mid-South Champion Al Farat seemingly have no one to tell them "No!" as their path of destruction runs through the company.

Farat, Bostic & Griffin are no strangers to each other, as all were associated in a previous incarnation of High Society. And while the name has changed, the target is still the same, as the Dynasty members are engaged in a fued with the highly popular Gangsta Nation. But that's not the only target for the evil trio and their wiley valet and all is not well within the ranks of Gangsta Nation either.

On the plus side, Thug Nasty scored the UWF06 Violent Division Title after a training session on February 28. A video posted on the UWF06 website, and shown to the fans at large, showed that the first person to take a crack at relieving Thug of that belt was Jerry Bostic, who attempted to ambush Thug backstage at the UWF06 event on March 1. But in a move almost reminiscent of Wile E. Coyote and his pursuit of the Road Runner, Bostic did more damage to himself than his opponent and was unable to take advantage of the 24/7 Open Challenge on the belt.

Bostic might have hoped to come out in a better way at this show, as he had used his power as part-owner to force D Money and Thug Nasty into a 3-on-2 Handicap Match against the Dynasty, who revealed their newest member to be Al Farat. Farat replaced UWF06 Texhoma Champion Les Mayne, who earlier in the show had defeated UWF06 Dual Kombat Champion Javi Hernandez to successfuly defend that title and had then joined ring announcer Joshua Smith for live commentary. The Dynasty took it upon themselves to taunt Mayne prior to the arrival of their opponents, but Mayne restrained himself from physically getting involved with his former stablemates.

Once the match began, things went the way of the popular duo for a while. Despite having a 1-man advantage, plus the presence of Frankie Dee at ringside, the Dynasty didn't seem to have the cohesiveness as a unit that Gangsta Nation did. It wasn't long before Farat had to resort to using his foreign objects, which were perfectly legal in this match as it was made into a No DQ match shortly before it began. This evened the sides briefly, but Gangsta Nation still was able to rally and the action spilled out onto the floor.

At that point, after several minutes of combat had expired, former Gangsta Nation member Montego Seeka, who had made his return the UWF06 at the previous show, came down to ringside. While the crowd was not certain as to his motives at first, it quickly became apparent that he was not there to even the odds, as he took a trash can lid to the head of Thug Nasty and knocked him out, leaving him laying on the outside while the other Dynasty members concentrated on D Money. After embracing Al Farat, Seeka left the area as the 3-on-1 attack continued. Fortunately for Thug, the threesome were so intent on injuring D Money that none of them thought to cover him for the Violent Division Title. But that still left D Money with no one to assist and the odds just became too great. Money was eventually pinned and the Dynasty stood triumphant.

But that wasn't enough for the threesome. After a quick celebration, they went over to the announce table where they again taunted Les Mayne. This time, words weren't enough and the Dynasty proceded to demolish the announce area, upending the table, spilling chairs all over the place and physically assaulting Mayne, all in an effort to show him that they were in charge and he was not worthy of being associated with them.

Mayne was able to gain a small modicum of revenge 2 days later at the MSWA show. Mayne & Griffin were both entered in the Lethal Lotto Tag Team Tournament and ended up on opposite teams: Mayne teamed with Brock Landers and Griffin teamed with MSWA Mid-South Tag Team Champion 3rd Rail. While it seemed that the size differential between their respective partners would guarantee victory for the 400 lb. Chicago native and Griffin, these 2 refused to cooperate, with Dane repeatedly "slipping" off the ring apron when Rail would go for a tag. Obviously, the possibility of a MSWA Mid-South Title match against his fellow Dynasty partner wasn't enough to motivate Griffin to work with Rail and Landers & Mayne scored what has to be considered an upset victory to advance in the tournament.

With that psychological advantage on his side, Mayne now faces the need to find a partner (or partners) to combat the Dynasty. Obviously Gangsta Nation have an issue with them, but would Mayne fit in well with the street thugs from California? Perhaps a better choice would be the other part-owner (and former High Society member) Thomas Trump and Eric Rose, who are no strangers to Farat, Bostic and their chicanery. Or Mayne could continue to try and fight alone. But when faced with power that has no control over it, it's usually better to swallow your pride and ask for help rather than risk permanent injury.
