Mick Foley sends message to former WWE colleagues amid US midterm elections

AEW’s Mick Foley has a message for his former WWE colleagues amid the ongoing US midterm elections.

The US midterm elections are currently on and WWE who generally have their NXT episodes on Tuesdays, decided to move them a day later on Wednesday. This led to them clashing with AEW Blood and Guts.

With the elections currently on, Foley issued a message on his social media and asked his former colleagues at WWE, having a personal relationship with USA President Donald Trump, to think about the democracy.

“Should things not go their way, I truly hope some of my [WWE] colleagues who have a personal relationship with the president will put country over party and speak up for the sake of democracy,” Foley wrote.

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque currently serves as the Vice-Chair of The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.

Earlier this year, Foley bid goodbye to WWE after the expiration of his Legends contract. The decision was also prompted by the close relationship WWE had with Trump.
