Conrad Thompson shares possible update on Ric Flair following hospitalization
Posted: Oct 25th 2026 By: Ian Carey
Conrad Thompson appears to have provided an update on Ric Flair’s status.
Flair was hospitalized on Friday after reportedly falling and injuring his face. TMZ reported that Flair is believed to have left the Wagamama bar in Tampa before falling and suffering a laceration to his head and eye. It is said that his eye was bleeding extensively, and he was suspected to have also sustained a concussion.
Thompson posted to social media on Saturday and wrote, “He’s home.”
However, Thompson didn’t specifically mention that he was referring to Flair in his post. The 74-year-old Jim Ross, who co-hosts the Grilling JR podcast alongside Thompson, was also hospitalized earlier this month due to low oxygen levels. Ross reportedly spent a night in the hospital but was back home by Thursday.
Charlotte Flair also commented on her father’s hospitalization, writing that he told the doctor he fell because The Ultimate Warrior had dropped him on his head. Flair has previously said that he developed vertigo after wrestling Warrior in the early 1990s.
Charlotte wrote:
"Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…
(ps: he’s going to be ok)”
Flair recently had to pull out of a convention in Washington State this weekend after revealing that he is dealing with a blood clot in his leg. Flair says doctors have advised him to avoid traveling more than three to four hours at a time.
