Mike Bailey explains the origins of his ‘feud’ with AEW’s MVP

Almost a year ago, rumors emerged about AEW stars Mike Bailey and MVP feuding with each other; however, the rumors were later refuted.

Last year around this same time, a rumor emerged that MVP and Bailey were having a backstage feud. However, the Hurt Syndicate member refuted the claim and called Bailey one of the “nicest guys.”

Now, recently, speaking to The Wrestling Classic, Bailey opened up and shared more about the origins of the feud rumors. “It started with a story that we both saw online, and we’re both like, ‘What the f**k is this?’

“It’s the most ridiculous premise on earth, right,” Bailey said. “These two pro wrestlers who are battling in the ring. Kevin Knight and I literally had a match with them at All In for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, and people are like, ‘Oh, I’m hearing rumors that these two don’t like each other.’ And it’s like, ‘What do you make of that?’

“The story had just gotten a lot of traction because there are some circles online who revel in that kind of stuff. And we’re like, ‘Well, we should address it. We should do something about it.’

Ever since the humorous backstage video between Bailey and MVP came out and went viral, Bailey claimed that their greeting each other with a “f**k you” has become a running gag between them.
