Wrestling veteran Jeff Jarrett has named his AEW Mount Rushmore.

Recently speaking to KickOut, Jarrett was asked to name his AEW Mount Rushmore. While the 59-year-old named several iconic wrestlers, he labeled AEW President Tony Khan as the mountain himself.

“I think you have to start with [Chris] Jericho. It’s funny, you know, taking a step back, and if you ask me three or four years from now, it’ll probably change, but to me it’s hard not to put Sting on there at this stage,” Jarrett shared. While Chris Jericho is an AEW original and the first AEW World Champion, Sting joined the promotion a little later in 2020.

He also continued and added founding members The Young Bucks to his AEW Mount Rushmore, as well as Kenny Omega and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

“But, you know, I hate to say this, it kind of feels like you cannot not put the [The Young] Bucks on there. I know they’re a team. And then if I’m going to say the Bucks, then how do you leave Omega off? So you may want to just say Jericho, Sting, I’ll say The Elite, including Hangman. That group is so integral.

After adding Jericho, Sting, and The Elite, Jarrett finished his list off by adding MJF into it. “I mean, it’s hard to deny just kind of his role in the growth and the positioning of it all.”

However, while he shared all of those names, Jarrett claimed that Khan was Rushmore itself and none of this would have happened without his mindset and vision. “But Tony Khan is the Rushmore. He’s the mount. None of this would happen without his mindset and vision. To me, that’s where I kind of always start. You got to start with him,” Jarrett concluded.

Jarrett, 59, is a wrestling veteran himself and has been a part of several iconic wrestling promotions, including establishing TNA. After a brief return to WWE, Jarrett joined AEW in 2022 and has been there since.
